Bobby's room action during '09 WSOP - Poker News

2007 was the year the super big games with Aba, Farha and BA (later others) happened, where as 2008 had very little action. What are peoples predictions on the high stakes action this year, has some already happened or in the pipeline?

serious answer is there will probably be some good games from how games have been running lately, the people in town, ect. ect. Most of the highstakes online players are there as well as alot of the live gamblers so yeah hopefully there are some good games.

200/400 is very high for live PLO, they play limit games alot of the time in Bobby's room which is why you hear things like 2k/4k

According to one of the floor guys at Bellagio last August, at one point they had a 4K/8K running with another 2K/4K ON THE FLOOR just outside Bobbys in 2008. Railing must have been awful.

Saw Kenny Tran, BA, Hachem, Lee Markholt and maybe 2-3 others playing in Bobbys Room this past friday night. Don't know what stakes, games, tho.

a few years ago a game that started as 500-1k mixed nl/plo did run and it may have been bumped to 1k/2k. during that time bobby baldwin snapped aba;s bluff in a 1m PLO pot. he had a whole blog about it. i think the game started as HU between farha and aba but a few others played.

also werent ziig and durrr playing live 3k.9k plo at one point a few weeks ago?
