Ferguson and Lederer basically got off and paid little/no restitution. They effectively stole millions and millions of dollars, and what got paid back, like 3M?

PokerStars made people "whole," not the perpetrators here. So for people to still be angry is absolutely justified.

They essentially stole millions and now are walking around amongst the people they stole it from like nothing ever happened, and you could look at it like they're using that money to buy in to tournaments. At least Lederer made some attempt to apologize, and I assume he'll now show up too.

Meanwhile people who never played online or heard about this will treat them like gods walking amongst the poker mortals and think anyone being rude to them is the bad guy. I'd imagine that's insanely tilting if you lost money on FTP.

You seem like a guy who idolized the "TV pros", the type who takes their photos at tournaments and says stupid things like "thank you Layne Flack, it was an honor to play with you!" after you bust a tourney. Your heroes let you down, and the result is a series of bad posts in this thread.

I don't know who Zima is....and I don't idolize any degen. They were never my heroes.

I just don't understand where all this anger is coming from in this thread by people who haven't posted how much "Ferguson cost them."

I just asked for the people posting on this thread...if they could post how much "Ferguson" cost them....and so far only 1 guy has replied.

Ferguson wasn't even charges with a crime so I don't see the big deal.

Was the company mismanaged ? Sure

Did he profit? Sure (good for him).

Did most players get repaid ? Yes

Did some lose what they had on there (aff and pros) ? Sure but it's a gamble playing and working for offshore sites. Too bad if you got screwed


People need to put what's in the past in the past and leave the guy alone. He was just a piece of a big puzzle. Ftp was mismanaged BIGTIME but it's not like these guys were in this to outright steal.


Hopefully he makes a few deep runs and maybe scores a bracelet. I know I will be pulling for him if he makes a final table. Chris is one of the guys who helped put poker and online poker on the map.

You can be impartial, but to ROOT for him....that just makes you a tool.
