There were a bunch of pros who borrowed a lot from FT and never cared to pay that back despite knowing it came stolen from other players that mostly got away with it too. The AP/UB guys mostly got away with it too (poker community barely cared about that and none of those got paid back that I'm aware of). and a bunch of other sites and pros **** all of them.

Thievery is too common in the poker realm so I guess that's why some are defending them so hard. The he screwed you over so what get over it mantra has always baffled me though. Why do you want all of them to get away with it?

Ferguson isn't gonna say anything obviously, since it just brings that back into news/spotlight. Nobody is gonna believe him anyway and he probably doesn't care anyway whatever.

This is incorrect. They didn't have the players money so they would've certainly gone busto by now. The DOJ is the only reason some of us were fortunate to get our $ perhaps ironically.

Lederer/Ferguson will bolster ESPN's ratings as they are well known players and respected among the 98% of the viewing audience who have never heard of PS, UIGEA, or FTP.

I found it fairly interesting when he was at my table in the turbo today, he sits down and a gentleman around 55 yrs old says "Mr. Ferguson, it's a pleasure to play with you, out of all the famous pros, you are my favorite." He reiterated this statement a minute or so later. Obviously Johnny Public has no clue about FT and figure he's just been playing here the whole time. Upon hearing this, a few younger players in the know shot awkward glances around the table, the tension was palpable.

Quite a contrast from since the last time I played with him, I had him all in 6 years ago in a 1.5K at the series, it was day 1 and we were nowhere near the money, but the floor had us both keep our cards face down for like fifteen minutes while 3 cameras were corralled to film the action and his reaction. This time he bled down to 3 bb's, busted and walked off.

only a fool argues with reality.

ESPN was getting filler shots of all the Full Tilt heroes, like I said, it took them 15 minutes to go get the cameramen to film it. Day 1 of a 1.5K, about 5 hours in. Everyone at the table was pretty tilted they had to wait while the clock ticked on, but they were like "nothing we can do, it's Jesus". And btw, ESPN did whatever the F they wanted back then, they would film a hand and someone would fold and the ESPN crew would just flip over the folded hand and state they could do whatever they want for the production and the FT guys were solid gold for TV.

.

It's a wonder Ferguson has the balls to show up....what with those Young pros getting stuck into him with their exchanged awkward glances and all

Why did 1500 people not get paid back by full tilt?
What was the difference between them and all the others ?

WSOP should pull his stack due to "bad internet connections", or if he cashes, should hold his payment for at least 5 yrs, make him jump thru hoops and only pay him 20%. F'ning joke he shows his face, and yet the biggest scandel at WSOP is a motorboating incident.

Never thought we'd see this man again.

Next up. Ray Biter makes a comeback and his "heart issues" are solved.

Spoiler:
He doesn't have heart issues

OMG, move on or file suit against him...

He was involved in a business in a great position and made his money. (the beauty of capitalism.) Madoff - guilty and prison. Your evil empire - no prison time = NO CRIME.

Everyone here is so high and mighty, you'd have done the same thing if you were there walking in his shoes

Awkward glances? LOL.

What a bunch of wimps.

Why didn't you man up yourself, and in a loud voice, inform the deluded gentleman what a thieving scumbag this guy really is?

because I'm not a douchebag, but I'm sure you would have ripped his jaw off tough guy, because loud violent confrontations will solve everything, good call. Now go bang on your keyboard. I give zero fks.

How about something different. Next time someone's at a table with him politely ask him what the heck happened? Or something along those lines. See if he says anything.

Or maybe an innocent sounding question like how was Ray's wedding?

No one's asking you to be violent.

And you're not cool for giving "zero fks".

Lol. Because clearly you should avoid looking like a douchebag to thieving scum. Im shocked he even ever had the balls to come play again knowing he have to deal with all those awkward glances. Turns out there other options somewhere between saying nothing and ripping his jaw off. God forbid anyone say anything impolite though
