Shouldn't a person's associations say something about his or her character and integrity?
Taking an extreme example, if someone were close friends and constantly defended a convicted rapist of little girls or an old nazi hiding in Venezuela, wouldn't that affect your opinion of that person.
Chino isn't either of these (maybe simply due to the lack of opportunity), but he is reported by many respected members of the community as a scammer and definitely confirmed to be one at this point.
Still, Grinder stands up for him all the time while keeping himself free of any responsiblity by apparently not vouching for him, and I have a hard time considering this "innocence". (that and obviously banking online tourneys in his wife's name)
