I'm no vigilante but I do carry concealed so any confrontation that might arise from my openness in the media will not be as easy as picking off a random witness. That being said I think the risk is Pretty remote. Call me naive but that's my gut feeling.
unlucky for u that there is future risk for your involvement. took a lot of guts and many people wouldn't have done the same thing in your shoes

i'm an anti-gun new yorker, so salt my statement-

i dont think your openness with the 2+2 community makes you any sort of a target, but saying you carry a concealed weapon does imo.

i dunno. guns are bad.

meh, almost never carry but I think it's sensible to increase doing so over the next few months.

Being stuck in a house that is getting rob and not having a gun is bad. Esp. if you have a family to protect

Or in this case, walking around with your information out, within a criminal case and not being protected is bad.

Guns are bad, when bad people have them. To counter that, I like having one myself.

i dunno i seriously disagree with your post.

there's not much data out there (read: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/26/us...fleassociation) but i would imagine that having a gun makes you less safe.

having a gun while your house gets robbed seems to be like a great way to get shot yourself. if you are concerned about protecting your family - seems to me you're more likely to get out alive if you comply instead of shooting across your house trying to miss your family and hit the bad guys.

agree to disagree. Don't think anyone's going to change their mind and everyone else will be bored to death with stats on gun violence.

Las Vegas PD ignored witness security and whored me out. I am getting a lawyer and telling my family to do the same. Vegas PD should have redacted large portions of the arrest report that are not relevant to public disclosure. They failed to do so and put people at risk unnecessarily, namely my family. To be continued.. I spoke with 2 lawyers tonight and am on the warpath. My family has paid taxes and followed the law for several decades. Now my cooperation puts their existence at risk.
Once again an example of helping out the man, just to get ****ed in return. Sigh.

Which never accomplishes anything anyways. Guns kill. And stupid people get their hands on guns regardless of what the law says.
