I just spoke with Sharon Cohen Levin, and asked her a few questions, she was quite polite. She didn't give me anything new, but she answered all of my ?s. I asked what the current status was for AP seeing as how FTP and PS players have been made whole.. she said the Marshalls service is still in the process of liquidating AP assets, and, depending on how much they get and when they get it, that will determine the DOJ's next move. I asked if remission was likely if they do get $$ and she said the decision hadn't been made yet, but i have to assume it would be likely. I also asked if there was any chance that the DOJ would use FTP or PS assets to pay AP victims and she said that that decision hadn't been made yet. So yes, nothing new, but its nice to hear that they are still working on this and that remission is possible! The original precedent for this case was to repay ALL victims and that includes AP/UB. I have hope... keep calling, let them know we are here !

If you call her again, ask about the possibility of 'claw back; from the overcompensated owners and pros from the last few months of their existence.

I know if i lost a significant sum i would absolutely be taking a trip to antigua and do a bit of digging. Not condoning violence, but scott tom deserves to at least be spit on.

That is rather subjective, while he is speaking objectively, I'm sure as much of a smartass you are I imagine you can distinguish between the two. Being that much of one you should exercise some creativity while trolling.

My recent email interaction with the PPA:

As of right now you are essentially right. The US DoJ has control of all of their assets and it appears the most valuable asset is their player list. (which they are allowed to sell) To date no company or entity has stepped up with an interest in purchasing the assets. PPA has made the DoJ aware that any deal must include the repayment of the players as they are rightfully considered victims. There is another option for the DoJ to take which includes another lawsuit that would not net the necessary funds to repay player accounts in full, but would at least get a portion of their funds. DoJ has not given any hint as to whether they may opt for the additional lawsuit option, but if/when they do we will let our players know ASAP. As I have said before I am sorry I do not have better news to give you. Have a great day.

Why not sue the DOJ?

They have the money

They have admitted they have the money

They have admitted it is not theres

They are not going anywhere

If you want to take out a class action suit then there must loads of law firms that would take that on contingency
