Only difference is we can play on pokerstars while we wait for confirmation about our loss funds.

So we are in the same position as US players? Its fine by me, but I was really wondering if the fact that "we were allowed to play" would "guarantee" us a percentage back. I only had about 6-7k but it was my first bankroll, and I would like to know if Canadians have a better chance at a return, although I pretty much prepared myself on a zero % return. I just dont have the motivation right now to build my BR back up again, lol.

What would the DOJ do if Cereus just stops operating and closes down? Would they keep all the frozen money as fines or would they try to pay back players?

For FTP the extension means extra time to get the deal worked out. For Cereus it probably just means more time for the Cereus-owners to hide assets and get better protection from a bunch of lawyers.

I mean they have been paying Black Rock for over eight months now and so far we have seen nothing come out of that black hole.

Maybe well get our money when inflation gets so bad.

i have spoke with Russ Hamilton in the last 2 days...its been mind boggling texting back and forth to a guy who TOTALLY fkkkk'd up my career...its feels like i'm talking to my murderer...not to sure if u understand how that could feeeeel....but it was full of mixed emotions and was quite the adrenaline

i didnt expect to hear from Russ, and it has thrown me for a little loooop- i was supposed to meet face to face with him the other night, but he backed out the 11th hour--- sick riv.

on another note-- they couldn't offer me 5 million dollars tomorrow to keep my mouth shut...i will NEVER sell out to myself or the Poker community- the guys involved need to be held accountable.... no more free passes- Now lets start listening to the people that actually have investigated this stuff !

i also had a 45min convo with Phil Hellmuth the other night-- i believe he owes and has some explaining to do to the Poker Community-- lets ask him for some clarity

I think the poker community has been waiting to hear what you said in your post and video from someone for very many months. So thank you for doing so. I think the majority of the online poker community and the vast majority of ub/ap regs want to hear some sort of testimony from both Phil hellmuth and annie duke, but especially hellmuth because presumably he will be around for much longer and Annie duke is finished. She knows she can't enter a public poker setting without getting harassed. Phil on the other hand we need to hear from. The fact that neither of these two came out and made any sort of statement since blackfriday tells the poker community there was either something to hide or some wrongdoing on their part. The poker community wants to hear what hellmuth has to say. I applaud you for coming out and making this public. All the best luck to you in the future brad and I hope you and whoever u r working with can get hellmuth to cooperate with u guys.

+1 to eazy and tytyty for the post brad. You definitely still have the celebrity to actually shine a spotlight and I really hope that you continue doing so. I'm not sure the best way to get more attention on hellmuth (nvg thread for an interview?) but it's definitely absurd that he has come out with no statements or anything regarding this issue. I know it can be very painful to have to go back over this over and over again (hell, I semi-shudder everytime I see this thread get bumped) but the fact is, some of us have a lot at stake here and as it has not been resolved I think we need to keep pushing for truth and justice to prevail. Hellmuth definitely owes an explanation and some accountability to us all.

heard he made 20 or 30 million when UB went public. wonder if that's true or not. Maybe you could ask him
