Purpose is to make a really great, accurate, honest documentary that details the online poker world. Obviously if it turned into a box office smash, won multiple Oscars, and allowed it's shareholders to retire to a Caribbean island that would be great too, but that's not out goal.

Ultimately we'd like to do this on a grander scale. Maybe a series of these, maybe a 90 minute feature following a handful of players over a couple of years. Our main aim really is just to make an amazing documentary that people see, appreciate, and enjoy. Who knows where online poker will be in 10 years? Perhaps very different to how it is now. So we'd like to put something together that details this world we all inhabit ......

You guys have this speech pattern, where everytime you speak I think, "this one time.... at band camp...." This probably doesn't even make sense, I was just wondering if that's the common way the people of your area speak.

No offense intended at all, you guys seem like cool people... love the phish shirt. I enjoyed the documentary, look forward to more.

Or we could just assume he's successful now and therefore has always been and has never encountered any difficulties in poker.

I'm just a Caby fanboy so your POV is probably more spot on.
Yeah but the difficulties would be like, getting the right pros to make videos, video production quality, website design/hosting/bandwidth, advertising, legal, wondering what catagories to put in the CR forums etc. All easy managable difficulties especially for a clever chap like taylor.

I'm not so much a fanboy as you are, i want to see proper poker players in the poker media, even if its some mid stakes genius multitabler grinder would be pretty cool to watch, finding out about their life (if its interesting), ups and downs etc, not someone going on about whats new at cardrunners and why we should sign up, its bloody annoying, we can see the advert on twoplustwo for cardrunners, if we wanna sign up we will. Training sites do educate the fish also btw and i'm not hugely against that or anything but i'm not wanting to worship them either.

This video is awesome.

Congrats on your life sir (and wife shortly...). I wish nothing but the best for you in the future whatever you end up doing. I'm stuck still grinding myself unfortunately lol.

Zeeebo, I live in Denmark (pretty darn close to Sweden) and I highly reccomend that you take your soon-to-be wife to Sweden for a week long vacation. It truly is a nice country. :-)

Btw fantastic documentary that made me shed a few tears at the near end!

PS: Do you play the sngs at Pokerstars and if so what is your sn so i can avoid you?! :-D

LDO but... what really makes the video is the contrast between Zeebo's low key lifestyle/the online geekiness and the scale of the winningness, and i think that if you were following around some high stakes players running out of control ballerness yadda yadda it would be harder to find that kind of interesting contrast.

If you're going to make a bunch of these or one featuring a range of people, then i guess the baller lifestyle would be one aspect of the range of different meanings that people bring to being a poker pro. In the video, the two people to me who i thought would be really interesting to see more of were vanessa (mainly due to her comment about her two different personalities) and DJ Sensei (for sheer awesomeness)

yes, I live in Sweden and this is pretty accurate + the hot girls and the fact there are no taxes on poker winnings =) plus it´s very cheap to live here so all you need is a solid winrate at NL100 and you pretty much can live like a king

ps. I loved the documentary! GL with the future zeebo and don´t forget to come and visit Sweden

It was an excellent production, but it was incredibly depressing. Sure he's had online success but his life seems empty / dull. Get out and live life - go see the world.

i thought it looked pretty bad when zeebo said he wasn't really concerned with helping his fellow americans. and that's unfortunate because i get the impression zeebo is really good guy. i mean he went out and volunteered tutoring kids, very +ev imo. helping others is so rewarding making it a win win situation.

great video! and big congrats to zeebo and his fiance!

smoking is -ev. quit.

oh another thing, bi polar is often misdiagnosed. i would get a second and third opinion.

I think it's going to be tough to top this one to be honest. It was incredibly well done and the story was very interesting.

Just watching some high stakes nerds getting drunk has been done and failed miserably.

Honestly, while watching I never got the vibe that this doc was about "online poker", but more about the life of a young phenom with a struggle.

I mean, if this documentary were about "online poker", it wouldn't have been nearly as good, or enthralling as it currently is, which is a true tale about Greg. Online poker just facilitated where he is and who he is today, so it had to be discussed obv.

I think a blanket documentary about online poker would be tough to make interesting. This one worked though, because the nucleus was about a human being, not poker, and that is a lot more complex than poker.

Not sure how you can say "failed miserably"

I still get multiple emails and PMs every month looking for another pokerfilm. Plus it got five figure views on YouTube for every episode.

A very good documentary and excellent production quality.

But come on some of you guys! Not balla enough? A 23-24 year old guy is set for life, but a million dollars (or two) ain't what is used to be. But he has that and it looks like those dollars will last for a long time. And he is making 30/40k a year, working 2 hours a day, relatively risk/stress free ----- seems balla enough to me.
