I wasnt. it was weird to have a big fancy camera pointed at me though, if that isn't obvious.

zeebo,

Why do you make your wife sing and play piano when you play poker?

Good stuff. Also, never considered doing science? Obsessive personalities have an advantage in most of those fields. You could probably make a great microbiologist or whatever.

If you haven't already, check out e.g. Richard Feynman's The Pleasure of Finding Things Out, and see if that tickles you.

I've also thought about real estate too.
If you are already financially set, what would be the upside here?

how about making the next documentary in thailand, focusing on some of the medium/high-stakes players there? totally different lifestyle to what zeebo is living.

Zeebo, Id bet good money that you have social anxiety. Have you been checked for it or have u urself looked up the symptoms? You being so isolated and how ur lady talks about you being drained of energy around people sounds a lot like it even without the details.

Do one on someone who was really successfull in the early online days, but are struggling now? Perhaps not "Eskimo Clark busto"-struggling, more like trying to build up a roll for the nosebleeds by grinding it out at $5/10 or $10/20 or whatever.

Fredrik 'H@££INGGOL' Halling seems like a really interesting, outgoing, funny character, for instance.

Or Prahlad, or Lodden, or Sonnert, ...

Let them tell the story about how they initially built up from zero to become a millionaire, what cool stuff they did with the money, investments they've done, how they lost (some of) it, and how it was to go from being a broke student or in a dead-end job, to mega-rich back to almost normal / just well-off again.

Are any of those guys in a regular job or back at school now, for instance? (Is that even possible when you've made and lost millions at playing a game? Seems like it would be real hard to motivate yourself.)

Wow does my face look fat in this.

Also, Zeebo: 2 million. Really?

I personally thought this was a truly great documentary in every aspect. The fact that most of NVG, possibly the most hateful group of people on earth, agree w/ me says a lot. Even though the video portrayed some of the darker sides of the online professional poker player, I left it feeling very upbeat.

Greg, I have followed your blog, career, and 2+2 posts for several years since back when I used to grind out MSNL 6-max on Party, and because of that I felt so truly happy for you by the end of this video. Congratulations on all your current and future personal success in life.

And to Ryan Firpo and anyone else who played a role in making this video, thank you. Your talent as a filmmaker is truly impressive.

You remind me a TON of Michael Scott. I don't mean that as an insult either.

Very cool video. It's nice to see something unique and very high quality.

I enjoyed seeing Madtown, but the video made it seem like it's a crappy city, when in fact it rocks.

The honesty throughout really made this video special. A+ job.

"We sellin' dope and coke in Baltimore, any y'all who ain't got that kind of money need be ashamed"

.. meant in no disrespect for zeebo. just surprised at everyone saying he's lying/really/doubting. he was one of the best players, at the highest stakes, in the boom of poker, playing 24hr session or day in day out logging lots of hours over a period for 2 - 3 years. so no idea where the doubt is coming from.
