Looks to me like Dong is always on the right side of the hand(winner and gets there) and Jason has to make all those sick decisions against the bot. Amazing rail btw, thanks to everyone contributing <3

So preflop first to act range has converged to 250 or 0? I wonder if 3betting size will converge next. Interesting to think about whats optimal vs what is a shortcut to GTO.

It seems like preflop there could in fact be a strict limit on sizes since ranges are the widest. And of course post flop its likely GTO has an extremely varied and wide range of sizes, because otherwise hands become too defined.

This is certainly an abstraction choice from CMU. Adding preflop open sizes (and esp limp) is the most expensive thing you can do in the tree and doubtful it adds much EV to the solution (esp if those sizes get taken less frequently). Restricting its 3bet sizings could definitely be beneficial for same reasons, altho you get less of a size reduction from this and I personally think it could be more likely that having 2.5->9x and 2.5->15x is more valuable than having 2.5x open and 3x open sizings. But that's just a guess

Thanks for all the info samooth!

I agree with this.

I think a GTO open sizing would vary a decent amount still.

This shows that a very good player (in this case a HU bot) will consistently beat the game in the long run.

Therefore poker is a game of skill.

Also, the difference between HU and 6 max and full ring is pretty big and I doubt that those variants will be solved soon.

expressing negative numbers with parentheses is common in scientific journals and company filings, where a lot of data is presented at once (mostly in big tables) and minus signs are harder to catch/easier to overlook

I find it equally annoying, but the standard accounting way is always to show negative numbers in parentheses.

OK, that's fair. I have to say that I read many scientific papers and even wrote a few and have never encountered this practice. However, we don't deal with many negative numbers.
