Makes me feel better about breaking my foot while playing online poker. Was up on a stool, my foot fell asleep, when I stepped down because it was asleep I landed on it awkwardly and broke a metatarsal. I had a plate in my hand when I fell, my dogs came running and were licking the plate as I was screaming in pain.

Edit: Obviously hope the knee turns out OK.

The best thing for Boosted to do here is to own what happened. It's tough to laugh AT a guy who is laughing at himself...you can really only laugh WITH him. Even though he's in pain now, he and his buddies are going to cracking up at this for years to come. Congrats on the deep run and take it easy, literally.

hey boosted that sucks man. i had a bad knee injury playing soccer and it took my over 2 yrs to recover well enough. part of the problem was my rehab sucked. not my fault, i did what the docs told me but it was just a crappy program for a young guy who wanted to be active.

anyway, my advice is to get into lifting heavy weight with the leg and doing squats at some point. proly wait a while but, like 9mo to a year but def do it. i didnt get into it till after 2 yrs and its pretty much changed my life.

It is less weird when a bum knee gives in. It could realistically happen at any time if there is some weakness. It is different than breaking a perfectly good knee when celebrating.

Its a toss up who is worse, the fan boys all worried about his debilitating injury, or the idiot who can't walk without falling down. I guess poker harkens to return to the scene of the "real" athletes from "Kingpin"
