Seeing how I'm laying here drugged up on Oxycontins at 4am, 10 days after my 5th Knee surgery to fix my ACL and meniscus (looks like it may of worked this time) this thread made me feel better but bad for the guy at the same time. Hopefully its just a strain but if hes tore it multiple times like I have you can tell when its tore. GL to Boosted.
What a clown. It's ridiculous enough when a pro athlete injures themself by celebrating. But a poker player? That's completely inappropriate and laughable.

you played great today Justin, get some sleep and head off to the doctor tomorrow to get this taken care of ASAP.
Excellent advice.
When I was in my early twenties I suffered a knee injury. I thought I could "tough it out" and delayed seeing a doctor, who when I finally went found that I had ligament damage. I caused more damage to my knee because I delayed going to the doctor. I now have almost constant pain and occasional days when I can barely walk because of it.
nice jokes guys, today has been a crazy wild amazing exciting day....its so hilarious how i hurt my knee and its going to be on tv, its really funny even though its amazingly painful lol...excessive celebration caused it, no shame...if you guys ever make a wpt final table and win critical all-ins you'll know where im coming from...never celebrated winning hands before tonight but even though i came out in terrible shape with my knee it was amazingly exciting even though i got 3'rd...my knee is in amazingly terrible shape, i lost slight balance and my knee just cracked/popped sideways and backwards at the same time, my leg is not straight at the moment its completely screwed and need surgery asap, thanks TT and matusow for all their support there and everybody else, also thanks for all the support from the forum. btw my knee was already on the weak side as i have already had two knee surgeries on that knee due to my bad accident 4.5 years ago which caused me to start playing poker in the first place
Good Job on the FT, hope you can still make dinner!
This is a good lesson for young internet players who are playing live tourneys - stop jumping when you celebrate and just stick with hugging and touching your friends (always guys) as usual.
