I saw this guy at the Rio and I can see why rich nerds keep staking him. He is very tall and attractive with a movie star smile. It's like that episode of Seinfeld where George hangs out with the "mimbo" and does whatever he says because he's so cool. "He gets the waitresses to give him free pie when we go to restaurants, free pie!"

And he's not a grinder. 10k+ BI's tourney players aren't grinders, they're lazy people looking for a big shot to get out of everything at once. (exclude actual pro's)

Grinders are cash game players who are fine going up in stakes only as they get better, have the resilience to put in sick volume every month and take poker as a job/business and not some kind of lottery in which they might have a couple more tickets than the next guy (in this case, maybe 2/3 of a ticket in that field...)

I'm not saying this guy sucks, but to think that he's +EV in this kind of field in a 50k mixed games event is ******ed.

JRB, if you're reading this, just play cash buddy. Get a 100% RB deal with a site, pretty sure you should be able to do that, and just ****ing grind cash, that's it.
Don't be lazy looking for some big elusive score turning your life into a roller coster of hope/deceptions. Work on your game and you'll be on your way to making 2-300k/year easily.
