I thought this was common knowledge. That's why stars has restricted tables if you don't want to play bots.

That's a big deal because if true they are giving him permission to cheat. The TOS says:

hey everyone,
i discussed the situation with pokerstars today and we came to conclusion it is prolly the most ethical thing to do for me to uninstall and not further use the bot anymore.
in return they will compensate me for 200k (500k original development costs) which will be taken off balances from people in my typical player pool.

i can unfortunately not pay people back who lost against me, i spent most of the money already

Bots playing on stars would not surprising to me. I mean one day it might end up being the bot wars online. Who could build the best AI.
They need to restrict the amount of tables in the U.S.

You can tell from his post history it's him.

The thread should absolutely stay open. He's objectively admitted to cheating and said that PokerStars secretly gave him permission to cheat. That's outrageous.
