Pokerstars didn't show up on Monday an told the DOJ they were going to buy FTP if this is true... They must have been involved for a long time.

I think a decently possible scenario is that either before or sometime after Tapie showed interest Pokerstars approached Tapie and told him they were interested in FTP as well and that they could partner up if it works out.

It makes a decent amount of sense too for Pokerstars to not want to be involved in an FTP deal if it falls through, and that they remain "hidden" until they are sure it can be done. Pokerstars doesn't need the negative press of a poker room they wanted to buy going broke.

It's pretty sick how well hidden this has remained if true though.
