I know what you're saying but Ivey has quite a bit more clout than an average employee. They hired Ivey to sponsor the room because of his marketing power. There aren't too many people that could replace him like they can a dealer. They wouldn't Ivey not playing in Ivey's room. Bad publicity. It's not like Lederer's play is bringing in that much into Aria. Unfortunately though doesn't look like even the guy trying to organize the protest is even doing it so it's not like they're going to be losing money from that either.
Considering Ivey's past statements it would have done a lot to increase the admiration of his fans, thus his marketing power, if he decided to take a stand with the players instead of playing poker with Lederer.
