What is a gift-horse? Why shouldn't you look in its mouth?
What does this idiom actually mean and how is it used?

If somebody offered you a horse to buy, you would look in its mouth to see the condition of its teeth to be able to better gauge its value. If somebody gifts you a horse you don't look in its mouth, because, well, it's free!

verrry interesting. i was wondering if dani was tanking with that exact hand on the river. im assuming he put in the call because 1) he has the A and K blockers to AAxx and KKxx hands, and 2) cumi is stuck and more likely to be bluffing in a spot like this where his line can easily rep the aforementioned hands (AAxx, KKxx)?!
