Any good poker documentaries? Any good poker documentaries?

Are there any videos that are sort of 'poker stories', or documentary type videos for entertainment.

I saw 'road to robusto', and was just wondering if anyone can recommend any other videos. I'm on Deuces Cracked, but couldn't see anything.

(I left this message on Deuces Cracked, with the response I got, I may as well have just wrote it on a piece of paper and thrown it on my kitchen floor.) 2+2 kicks it's ass for forum chat.

Poker Kings, which had the reigning world champion (Varkonyi) looking for work, and a variety of random British professionals on the tournament circuit (Simon Trumper, Gary Bush, Carlo Citrone, etc.).

Brilliant... Harmen and Lederer have certainly got better looking with age.

Negraun is mental looking....

This is an hilarious video... Hellmuth beginning to sculpt his poker brat image, matusow's glasses.....

Everyone has to watch this, it's the birth of the Old School.

No... I made a mistake.

The one I mentioned "road to robusto" was in fact the Capt Zeebo thing. Sorry for confusing you.

LOL.... class.

I didn't notice him. There's so many randomers in it.

The 2001 wsop is also on there with some familar faces at the final table.

Fair play to Phil Gordon, he sold an internet company then went travelling for 2 years with the money.

I think these 2 films were the birth of poker as we know it.

Little did Hellmuth know he would go from a geek to a someone who would self his soul to Ultimate bet.

From the look on his face, I think he know's he's a sell out gimp.

Good Lord Doyle is huge in this. Like orca fat. Chip aint no slouch himself.

Its like doyle is the earth and chip is the moon.

No wonder doyle has a magnetic personality its fing gravity. Without the gastric bypass doyle would have become a black hole.

Some of these are pretty good

50 Pounds Says You'll Watch This
http://www.cardplayertube.com/media/...atch_This_-_1/

Uk documentary featuring scottish comedian Hardeep somebody....he comes to vegas to play a televised game featuring a whinging Phil Laak amongst others...classic section where he asks Hellmuth to detect whether he's lying or not, he's 50/50 yet Hardeep kids him on that its amazing how he's reading into his soul. Turning up at Daniel Negraneu's pad in just a towel is quite amusing aswell....

Amarillo Slim - The True Gambler
http://www.cardplayertube.com/media/...bler_-_Part_1/

Whatever you think of Slim, theres no denying this is a great insightful look into the wilder side of gambling back in the day, and he certainly was the man....

The history of poker
http://www.cardplayertube.com/media/...oker_-_Part_1/

Quite a funny documentary that won't teach you much you didn't know but is amusing enough, funny look into "the big game" aswell....looks like a staged game for TV....

One Of A Kind - Rise and fall of Stu Ungar
http://www.cardplayertube.com/media/...ngar_-_Part_1/

Tastefully done documentary on Stu the kid by those who knew him best who are not afraid to bit their tongue and give it all straight from the horses mouth.....don't know why I find this so upsetting, certainly an eye opener for all degens!

if any of you fancy reading, the best 'documentary' book on poker is Al Alvarez's 'The Biggest Game In Town' about the 1981 WSOP. Kind of the birth of the old-old Skool.
