The goal of the podcast is to show people all aspects of the Poker world and also give shine some light onto people who might not be that known outside of the game type they play. I love having guys like Dipthrong and Max on the podcast. Dip has been on one of the most successful backers in the poker world in history of the game. Max has been playing poker for a living for over 10 years and has set himself up with a very nice life because of poker. I enjoy showing people that you don't need to be a Jungleman or DC to be able to have prolonged success in the poker world.

You also have to take the idea of balance into play when deciphering the scheduling of the podcast guests. As well as expectations. You could say there is a GTO approach to it. You could say there is an exploitative approach. You could say mixed strategies are being utilized to give it that perfect output of enjoyment for all. You could say I am clicking buttons and running hot. You could say this, you could say that


We talked about it briefly in the past and I just messaged him again to see if he might be interested We shall see. If people want to see him on the pod, feel free to let him know I think it would be fascinating.

How can you put Grazvis in this mixture of names. Will probably see Wruuuum out in WSOP this year, will see how he is feeling these days about it. Cobus probably in 10 years, I've never officially met MOP or Lrz. Maybeee d2 in a bunch of years also.

I think we will see Mercier on sooner than later but haven't really got into the idea much with him over time. I am very interested in that same thing as well. It seems like he is constantly on the grind playing online MTTs, live MTTs, online cash, live cash, anything/everything. To maintain that level of motivation and desire for so long is pretty crazy.

At one point in the Tommy Angelo podcast you talk about how you've noticed that you experience a narrower range of emotions since getting heavily into poker. I'm not a clinical psychologist, but it could partly be due to heavy gambling dulling the dopamine receptors in your brain. You can google something like "dopamine pathway gambling" to read more about it.

When you gamble and win, you get huge rushes of dopamine (a neurotransmitter in your brain). This could cause you to become desensitized to dopamine, and therefore things that normally give you pleasure (also via dopamine surges) might give you less pleasure. Just thought you might be interested in reading more about that. The good news is that you can probably reverse the process to some degree by playing less poker, if you so wish.
