It's really refreshing to not have to listen to stupid twitter games and dumb jokes all broadcast.

Totally agree. They tend to be way too technical and have no personality or entertainment. Don't have to be full Norman chad but c'mon guys.

Yeah, it's just constant dry analysis. There needs to be some variety.

Guy raises to 1k, I'm all in for 1k more. He tanks. "Well," he muses, "if I bust, I bust."

Wow. Cannot believe people are complaining about the commentary on the stream. The stream they have produced for this year is of an unbelievably high quality and it is free. Amazing content for no money, but still some people have to find something to cry about.

yeah unfortunately when you bring most professionals into the booth they talk strategy on a high level, if they couldn't do that i don't think they would go into the booth, we would just have tuchman.

last years milly maker final table with eric baldwin was great because they had ryan welch and brent hanks and they were just drinking beer and having a good time

I went to sleep thinking the same thing. Kenney was playing real well thought he was going to take it down for sure.

i agree with this. the stream is very high quality and i like the new features. i also think tuchman asks great questions, because he is a poker player himself. as viewers, we are essentially getting free coaching and i think people should have more of an open mind, learning from winning professionals is great.

...... and FREE!

I saw this a dozen times at senior event last year.

One 15BB short stack next to me folded Queens when I 3 bet Tens and a spazzy BB shoved AK.

The casino employees event had a guy who works for pokernews who wasn't too bad.

Is it because most people watching are serious players so they want to hear the technical strat talk from guys like Jason Somerville?

i think so but also the professionals are the ones available to do commentary, who else would you want in the booth? i would prefer people who know poker...

I used to prefer no hole card cams than being able to see the cards but I think analysis is so non results oriented because of the good analysis in the booth, it doesnt matter

Would like everyone to read this since it seems like I started the "dry"analysis discussion.

my post WAS REGARDING TO max steinberg, I thought he game across as condescending and arrogant and snarky, and his voice didnt help. I WOULD RATHER MUCH have dry analysis that helps me think about the game. but I just thought max can come across poorly imo

the commentary is and always has been great though. I feel people missread my post

Weird, I was just about to post that I don't mind having pros in the booth, especially ones with good communication skills like Jimmy Fricke... et voila!
