Ben Lamb appreciation thread - Poker News

Ben Lamb currently holding 1st place in the 50k poker player's championship. I've been keeping up with the series, and this guy is a beast. That's my view at least. Thoughts anyone?

Yeah he bubbled the FT in like 14th or something a couple years ago. Saw him last year sitting in the big PLO games...

I've just been following the series and had heard of his other cashes. I checked the day 2 updates of the 50k and saw he was at the top of the leader board. I turned my head and thought... serious?

Just a few years ago he was a pretty regular plo/nl holdem cash game player at the surrounding Tulsa casinos (which are all pretty low limits compared with everywhere else) and live mtt player. Hes blowwwwn up over the last 2 years. Glad to see hes making a name for himself!! glglgl benba!

you don't have to be a math major to know this. he has a huge stack. he's proven he can go deep when he has a stack. there are 88 players left. it's not rocket science, you know. it will be a surprise if he's NOT at the final table, so please stop being mad saying that what's he's been doing it's not a big of a deal in every single thread, goku.

played with him day 4 in the main for the entire day 2 yrs ago. He was on my left and made my life absolutely miserable the whole day. Sick player congrats!

It must be rocket science to you, because you clearly have no clue.

There are 74 out of 128 players left, 58% of the field still remaining.

There are 19.2million chips in play, Ben has 704,500 chips. He has 3.7% of the chips in play.

I guess you do have to understand basic math and logic to be able to understand that he is not favored to make the final table when he only has 4% of the chips in play, with 2 days left, 65 players to eliminate and he is playing in the toughest field tournament that everyone wants to win, badly.

Go back to school.

lol at the hate..what lamb is doing this series is ridiculous. I opened pokernews this morning and had the same reaction as op "wow no way he's leading with 750k chips lol the kid don't stop". To build 5x the starting stack is no small feat on day 1 of that tourney.
