How do you even keep track of when the action is on you or what happened on previous streets when you are 6 tabling and more ?
Also I would think it wouldn't be all that hard for a guy to run predefined algos for his pre flop cards ? Example Automatic all in with any AA KK or QQ
on the flop auto all in with any two pair that includes top pair or any set.

Tracker software like HM2 keep track of what happens in previous hands at the table.
For street by street we mostly use our brain.

For knowing when it's your turn: The table pops to the top and audibly dings.

so i left my email open that i have associated with 888 6 years ago. some person who can rot in the depths of satan's bowels emailed every site and told them i had a gambling problem and to close my account. 5 sites all resolved the issue with me. this was before my degeneracy took over, way before then. 888 still says "we care about your wellbeing and aren't comfortable opening your account.".. i played there for 10 deposits of 50 dollars. am i that poor? this pisses me off. their tournie sched is sexy.. haven't cared in a long time or looked because their PLO games suck..and have for a while.. but now that i'm getting back into tournies, i want to be able to play there. they said they carefully reviewed my account.. 25/50c degeneracy? lol

I'm very curious, why would you continue to play poker after all of the scandals like the Ultimate Bet scandal? How can you trust any of these site? Why risk it? Also, aren't the same people that ran those sites still running poker sites? I haven't thought about poker for probably 8 or so years, and after those scandals I just figured the Internet poker community would die down. Is Internet poker just for die hards now or do pro poker players still play them?

I don't understand what you mean by your post. Are these pros streaming their online poker games? I'm not up on the current pros. I used to know all of them on the seen around 2008.

Same reason they've always played - because they enjoy the game, and/or they make money.

The poker community is still here, and yes, some of the pros stream their games.

I'm having trouble changing my avatar on Pokerstars. I log in to the client and click the settings tab and it brings up my info with my avatar in the top left of the page. Under the avatar it has a change image tab which I keep clicking but nothing happens. It should proceed to the next part and eventually open file manager and allow me to insert the image but nothing is happening at all. I tried live help and they couldn't help. Anyone else had this issue and any ways to resolve this problem?

So when reading this (https://www.pokernews.com/news/2017/...dule-29228.htm) article on Pokernews I saw the job title of 'tournament team manager' at pokerstars. I believe the guy mentioned in the article used to play mtts as well as Iweargoggles. What would a job of a tournament team manager look like, and what are similar jobs?

Also what other jobs do you think are interesting in the (online) poker industry?

I had this problem - reported it to support and they passed it along but nothing happened. Interestingly after I relocated and switched from the .eu client to the .com client, it worked.

Tournament Team Manager might be managing the team of people who create tournaments on the site, take feedback from customers and modify upcoming tournament series, be generally responsible for all the numbers/product, report to stakeholders, etc. A pretty big responsibility for a site like Stars

There are lots of exciting jobs in the industry, probably a ton that most people who dont work in it would not even think of. You have everything from Ops to Dev, marketing, live events, affiliates, etc. Exciting depends what you are into. But if you are into poker/gaming and want to work in the industry, there should be something there for you

I got one old laptop with a bunch of pokerstars notes and labels and a newer laptop with a bunch of notes as well. Nowadays I play exclusively on the new laptop.

Is there any way to import the notes from the old laptop and merge them with the current notes on my new laptop without losing my notes on the newer laptop?

If I copy over the notes file from my old computer to my new computer and use the "import notes" function in the pokerstars settings will this remove the current notes on my new laptop?

Also, which file/files am I suppose to copy onto my new laptop?

I can't deposit to skrill for some reason. I used to be VIP but haven't used it in a year or so. I am now getting "Your transaction was declined. Contact your card issuer to confirm you have sufficient limits and balance and try again. If the problem persists, please contact us."

My deposit is within limits and I have the funds in my bank account. Any ideas?

Edit; tried now and can't even deposit 10 bucks. Maybe it's some verification problem. There's some orange box about verificaiton but I have already done that.

Well I couldn't find a number so I wrote them an email. Surely you know that it might take a while until they respond, which is why I asked here.

Well, given that you didn't include that information when you posted originally, he had no way of knowing if you had contacted them, and if you hadn't, a reminder to do so would have been very useful. It's surprising how often people haven't bothered to do so because they think they should get forum advice first, or they have done so and have gotten a reply that they didn't bother to post about. So really, his question was designed to help others help you, as much as anything.

In future, if you don't like questions like his, you'd be better served to include all the information in your original post.

My apologies. One would think that it's obvious that information, had there been any, such as that would be included in the original question. I, wrongfully, thought that information like "I wrote an email" would not change anything at all. Also, had I gotten a response I would clearly state so, include what was said and ask if anyone had been in a similar position.

With that said, the next time I write anything in Internet poker I will make sure to express myself very clearly to avoid any misunderstandings.

Wish I had something meaningful to contribute to your question; about all I can say is that Skrill is going to best one to answer your question since we don't know the whole story. But maybe someone else will have been through something similar and have some insight. Unfortunately, I know that in the past Skrill has been pretty slow with responses. Regrettably, I thought it would be obvious that I couldn't help you any more than I did, but, just to expand a little on my own quick response, although I don't know which card issuer you use and I don't use Skrill, it seems to me to be unlikely that Skrill doesn't want to accept your money, and if it was me, I would contact my card issuer by telephone to see if something or other was known at their end.

Perhaps you will let us all know the eventual solution, in order that others who might find themselves in your position aren't forced the full extra wait for whatever time you experience after the year or so of not trying to deposit?
