So I've been playing on 888 poker for about 6 weeks now. It is my only source of income and I am doing very well for myself as you can see below.

I recently sent them an email to restrict my max buy in for cash games and tourneys as you can see below.

The following day I noticed my account had been temporarily disabled. At first I thought this was due to making two withdrawals close together but then I received a pretty shocking email with little explanation.

I was honestly quite shocked at this response. On pokerstars I have had my buy ins restricted for years without any issues.

Not only did I have uncleared deposit bonuses, over 40 unused tickets and gold tokens, but also my bankroll for $3 9 mans and two pending deposits for a total of $350.

There was no mention of this....

They have taken my only source of income away, assumed I have a gambling addiction and completely wiped my account....

Absolutely disgusted.

Just wondering what my next step would be?

No issues with my stars account, 888 is just softer for 9 man sngs.

You mentioned gambling. Ain't the first time 888 bans you after saying something like this. Your next step is to move to stars or find a new format of poker to play.

Change title to "i have a mild gambling problem, 888 protected me". Words that triggered this response:

gambling
for larger amounts
afford to lose

You should probably prepare yourself for being banned for your own good by other poker sites.

Next step would probably be to get a job...
