If you have the answer, a very easy yes or no would do. If you don't have the answer, an even easier silence would do. In general, the problem with giving sarcastic answers is that someone who would have given a real answer is often discouraged from doing so.

Hi, I use to play on ps for about 8years. One of the saturdays I had a bit too much to drink and lost 500 on sports betting. After that Ive send them bad worded email, threatening with court etc... they banned me the next day. was trying to write to them saying sorry, but wouldn't have it. I also live with my partner and she plays poker and has got her own account. She deposited from my bank account and they also banned her for life as she has got close links with me.
Any advice how to get our accounts bk

You are well aware that clicking the Casino button is all that's involved with the suggested solution, irregardless of whether you yourself have experienced lag. You don't need to test it, you're not being asked for verification of whether it works. As it's been such a traumatic experience for you, perhaps the shock has been what has prevented you from answering with "a very easy 'yes'."

I know a guy which keeps depositing and losing on -Poker, playing up to NL5k. Then right away starts abusing Stars support, in the worst imaginable ways/ verbiage. Ive seen some of his emails, he even constantly gets 'Sir please' replies

I don't think you understand how free speech works. Policy speech is afforded protection by the government, under the assumtion that speech with low value will fail to gain traction and die out naturally in the marketplace of ideas.

It doesn't afford protection to low value speech that actually hampers substantive discussion of issues. There actually ARE limits placed on speech that has the potential to cause disruptions. To limit the time/place/manner in which 'trolling' can take place.

And of course, private message boards aren't government entities, so there's that as well.

Not sure xXPocketDucksXx offers sufficient value to justify allowing such continued disruption. Every thread turns into an attempt on his part to seek attention. First Amendment rights for attention-seekers who add little to the mix, not sure about that

FYP. He's been talked to before, and has received at least one infraction in this thread. But not every post you disagree with is trolling. Not every stupid post is trolling. And a number of you own the derails that happen just as much as he does, as rather than ignoring his posts you don't like, or posting your disagreements, you start up yet another derail about how terrible he is.

There are a number of posters who post a lot of stupid things, and while some of them may be trolls, others certainly aren't. When it's not clear to me which somebody is, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. But yes, keep reporting the posts that truly appear to be trolling, and I and other mods will have a look. And if I'm too soft on him, perhaps Mike Haven or another mod feels differently than I do.

This is probably the kind of thing that makes people think you're trolling, and makes me wonder as well. Honestly, each time I read it makes me think that maybe everyone's right and I should just ban you now.

Hopefully I don't have to put forward some kind of analogy to illustrate the ridiculousness of comparing a list of pros and cons based on quantity alone.

If only I had the heart to go through his hundreds of posts in Stars-related threads over the past few months and pull out the tens of dozens of insincere, deliberately provocative posts he's made in an attempt to annoy poker players and derail discussions. His sole purpose is to turn every single Stars thread into a back and forth about him, and he succeeds in getting quotes and replies every single time. FFS he even dropped into the MTT suggestion thread the other day to suggest Spin N Go MTTs, despite happily admitting that he doesn't play either MTTs or Spin N Gos. He just knew it would get an angry reaction because it's an objectively stupid idea, and that's all he wants.

He's one of the top ten or so posters by volume in dozens of Stars threads and he's doing the same thing all over 2+2, and somehow the mods aren't seeing it. He's single handedly making this place unreadable, and before you advise me to put him on my ignore list he's been there for months but it does no good; every page has multiple quotes and replies to his crap. Get this ****ing clown out of here.

What about a containment thread? Make it the only thread he can post in.
