Hello.

I have Skrill vip bronze and skrill mastercard. My skrill currency is usd and i want to withdraw some funds from skrill to my bank account. But my bank account is in SEK so i will have to pay quite high commission for withdrawal. So i searched the internet for alternatives and did find a couple of websites that do money transfers. But most of those either do not accept debit/credit cards or USA residents only. E.g. transferwise.com charges roughly 1% for debit card to bank transfer and their exchange rate is top notch but they do not accept usd debit cards .
So does anyone know of similar websites that accept skrill or usd debit cards? Or maybe there are some alternative ways of doing bank withdrawal cheaply?

Regards

After Black Friday I moved out of the US for a bit, and when I came back I left some money on my Pokerstars account. I had planned to move to Canada but it didn't happen. Now I am permanently in the US and am wondering how to get access to that money. The most recent time I accessed it was about 1.5 years ago on a trip out of the country.

Now my RSA token is expired and shut off. I could make a trip across the Canadian border but I don't know how I would withdraw, even if the RSA token did work. I used to have a TD Canada account but I'm sure it's closed now. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of situation, or any insight into how Pokerstars would/could handle it?

Someone else had (basically) the same question you had not too long ago. I'll refer you to my answer there because it fits your situation too. Basically, you wont need the bank account but you will need a bitcoin wallet and 2p2

Probably not, if you can't find one with Google.

Can I start a thread about a contest for WSOP NJ MTTs like who can get the most in total prizes on the day or something or does that belong somewhere else?

I just got a "Failed login attempt on your Skrill account" from no_reply@skrill .com even though I did not try to log in. I did log in yesterday after long time but pretty sure I got logged in first attempt. I wonder how and who tried to log in and how did they get my email id?

I'm guessing it will or even has already. Anyone noticing differences outside of PS, real, implied or announced?

You could moot the idea in the general thread and then, if there seemed to be more than just vague, basic interest, start a dedicated thread.

Im guessing you are thinking the elusive 'renaissance of other sites'.

My skrill account is held in gbp, whilst my pokerstars account is in usd.

should i convert from usd to gbp, before processing a cashout request?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a vague post inquiring if any volume players have noticed all the oddities in pokerstars and their software lately? Between the VIP changes and constantly being disconnected 'from the server side' and very poor assistance from support, other than asking for log files and saying they are aware of the bugs. Over the last week I have been disconnected from the server side in serveral big pots on the turn or river, check pokerstars network status and its bad 0% in all regions. Its a daily occurrence with disconnections from the server side. Never ran so horrible for months on end with an avg all in equity between 65%-75%. Constant lag even with a wired internet connection. The negatives of pokerstars are just compounding at this point. Withdrew my entire roll after 5 years at stars and after talking with some pros and amateurs, Im off to 888. This is a rant post as well as a spotlight on stars sad turn in software. At least 888 is publicly traded......integrity

Finally I got reply from Skrill and they confirmed that there was an unusual failed logging attempt from Russia. I still have no idea how they got access to my email address?

Hi 2+2 forums.

I turned 18 on January 23, and currently live in Saskatchewan, Canada. Is that age old enough for online poker? I could not find a clear answer online. In Saskatchewan you have to be 19 for in-person casinos, but the age slightly varies (e.g. Alberta is 18 for casinos), and could not find anything regarding the age for online poker besides being at least 18 years old according to the vast majority of sites such as PokerStars.

So is being 18 years of age the requirement for all poker sites for me?

Thanks!

Every site has its own age limits, they should be laid out clearly in their ToS.

Most sites that I know of the limit is 18.
