Re: Zoo Chat March > August - Quick Questions & Random Posts Go Here

quick question: I used to play on mybet a long time ago (pokersavvy bonus). I didnt finish and I cashed out (validated my acct). Now I decided to finish the bonus. Deposited, finished (already received pokersavvy points) and cashed out a bit less than deposited.
Deposit method: credit card, cashout via skrill (they didnt offer credit card option). I used moneybookers before on the site.
Now, my adress is in one country in Europe, but Im currently in Asia (till september). Can I expect problems? They locked my acct and I didnt receive an email about it yet (two days).

thanks

My frustration with getting my $ off stars

EDIT:

I have deleted my post as i do agree with the summation of the poster below, the issue is largely "on me", the main point of my frustration is that stars made a error in determining the date of my last deposit, i have corrected them and am currently awaiting their response to this.

Also, the sum concerned is trivial ($250)

Re: My frustration with getting my $ off stars

So send them an email saying that you deposited in May.

To me it seems all on you and circumstances vs standard procedure from PS. Your frustrated, bad luck for you but its nothing you should be frustrated about.

Have them correct your more recent deposit and carry on. All things prior is due to your long lapse from stars. Than you did the mistake of depositing to much than you wanted to. Your really only true issue so far from Stars is the non correct updated deposit; the rest is standard procedure and your doing.

Re: what is the ongame network?

Ongame provide the software for various poker sites. These sites are referred to as 'skins' on the Ongame network. Each of the skins will have its own website.

Here's a link to a list: http://www.ongamebonus.com/ongame/skin-overview.php

Pokerscout is one of the best sites for determining which sites are on which networks.

Anyone knows if Viktor Blom (Isildur1) only plays poker?

I mean: Does he live exclusively on his poker earnings? is his family rich? or maybe he has other incomes?

I was wondering about this because checking out the info I have found about him on the web, I believe he has lost more money than he has won.
Of course he was receiving some money from pokerstars, but now he has broken up with them and seems to be playing like a maniac (like someone who is afraid of going broke and is trying to multiply his savings).

And I still remember that players like the full tilt owners did play with a lot of confidence because the didn`t depend on their poker earnings (they were living with our money). It´s very different to play poker to live v/s playing poker as a hobby (when you are rich and have other incomes).

Anybody got an idea about his finances? Thanks for reading.
