I figured you would pick my post and not the one 8 posts above mine who thinks the same exact thing...but i'm over arguing with you and the other guy....anyway it's common sense April 15th the big three gone from US then they got Doyles, Everleaf and now it's obvious Bodog(vada) is next. Why need a source when an Idiot can see where online poker in USA is going...also I don't need to see the need for the inflammatory name calling. Also yes it's speculation as well as seeing it for what it is. I don't know why you are being so personal with me all i'm doing is speaking my mind...if it's what people don't want to see or hear that's fine but at the same token this is at least the last time i checked a free country right with free speech right? 2+2 should be a free open forum where you can speak your mind not censor it!!

This post provides so many examples of why I went off on you a little bit. You really need to put a little more thought into your posts before making them. I apologize to everyone else for the derail, but I'm really getting tired of some of these terrible posts. So, here we go...

1. One post has been deleted from this thread. One. That was a few days ago, when a poster had a question about points which he then deleted a few minutes later. That's it. So if you are as unable to find that post that says the same thing you did as I was, it's because it doesn't exist.
   
2. If you don't have a source for what you said and it's speculation, then that's fine, just say so rather than pointing to some other non-existent post that supposedly said the same thing you did. Not that it would matter if someone had.
   
3. I don't think name calling means what you think it means. I didn't call you any names.
   
4. How many times will this free speech tripe be repeated on this forum? Free speech doesn't apply to a privately-owned forum. But I don't see how that's relevant anyway, as nothing you said has been censored.
   
5. As for Doyle's, the .com website was seized a long time ago, and they never missed a beat. More recently, they were purchased and their name changed to America's Card Room.

George, here's the thing. I have no personal issue with you, although I'm sure you won't feel that way after this post. I don't do this kind of thing very often. But there are a select few people who have joined the forums in the last several months who are posting mainly in Internet Poker, and just turn out ill-informed or poorly thought out post after post. I'm not going to claim to be perfect; I'm sure I've posted some crap now and then. Some might say that most of my posts are crap, and that's their prerogative. But you know what I do once in a while? I'll start a post, and then part way through, I'll realize that it's probably not something that needs to be posted, or I'll realize that I might not have all my facts right and I...wait for it...don't post it. I think that's a skill that a few people could learn, and hopefully will over time.

I don't expect us all to think the same way; it would be a pretty boring world if we did. What I take issue with is some of the horribly erroneous posts. My points above weren't about a difference of opinions; points 1, 3, 4, and 5 were examples of spots where you were demonstrably wrong. And of course you're allowed to post things that are inadvertently incorrect, just as others can then post how they believe you're wrong. I just think that you're wrong often enough, that maybe it's time for you to start thinking things through more carefully.

If I come across like some arrogant douchebag, it really isn't my intent, although I can completely understand how it might look like it is. I don't consider myself superior to anyone else because of some posts on an Internet forum. Really. I just hope this might make some impact on your future posts.
