Yes. My Visa Debit works fine. It's possible that they may not let you take money off to it if you've never deposited with it, but you can probably just do a small deposit to authenticate it first.

Other than a longer hold time than for a "standard" Canadian cheque, I can't see any reason there should be a problem depositing them.

They generally have quite a few in the UK poker magazines, varying between general site advertisement ones like you posted and specific ones like 2 page SCOOP/WCOOP adverts with the schedule in them. Since you seem to be in Iceland not sure if that's any help to you though.

I'm pretty sure they run ads in BLUFF, but haven't seen a mag of that in years .
