I mean, if someone sells you a car at 1/5 the the price it's worth and then the cops come to your door and tell you the car was stolen, don't be surprised that you don't get to keep it OR get your money back. Pretty clear what Cake is telling you.
If it's too good to be true....

You are right about this. Kinda like if a pawn shop buys stolen items and then the cops say it is stolen they have to give it up. They lose the items and the money. Sorry OP you lost 60k. Did they at least refund the rake?
