You were right about that. I didn't realize you were referring to yourself and the other clueless bashers though.

Re: Take 60k off a guy on cake and cakepoker takes the funds out of my account wtf

didnt read the whole thread but anytime ive seen instances where 'fraudulent funds' (like a hacked account) were lost to legitimate players, ftp/stars/etc response has always said something like , "sorry your funds were lost to legitimate players and cannot be refunded) ... im guessing everyone at cake poker office got a nice bonus for the day. Seriously sportsbook/cake is and always has been the shadiest company ever.

1) lol @ crackback

2) Cake obviously sees no opportunity in the current online poker climate and doesn't want US customers. Genius business model.

3) Is there a new "MicroBob" flavor of Haterade this week? You all be thirsty!

Cake most have already lost confidence in you, but you are heading into the territory of being considered a rogue site.

Agreed.

I did enjoy how the latter part of the thread turned into an attempt to rag on Bob, tho.

Hope they get back to you soon, OP. This **** is seriously ****ed up.

If it's too good to be true....
Forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I stopped at this post to respond to it before continuing through the thread.

This is not a fair comparison, as in your example it is a deal only between you and the other person. Obviously there is no company or anything of the such to shoulder any of the responsibility for the transaction.

A fair comparison would be if you purchased the vehicle from Carmax. I think we can all agree when you purchase from a Company or establishment you feel more secure in the transaction, and that something like the car being stolen is Carmax's responsibility to determine before selling it to you. If one were to buy a car from Carmax at an amazing deal, then get it taken away by the police, that person absolutely should be outraged at the failure of Carmax to run their business properly. And that responsibility should not fall on the buyer unless the buyer chose to buy from a private seller as in your example.

So in OP's example, Carmax is Cake Poker. It is their responsibility to make us feel secure in playing on their site. Otherwise we might as well go play random home games with strangers in our neighborhood and hope for the best, because that's the only place something like money being taken away from you with no recourse should happen. If Cake poker can't give their players this security and peace of mind at the tables they really are not fit to run their business.
