Okay so on Sep 14th I withdrew €579 from Stars to Paypal and it never appears in my account so I contact both parties.

This has taken seveal e-mails and phone calls but in the end Stars tell me

Hello xxxx,

Thank you for your email.

We have reviewed your case again and can confirm that the funds were sent to PAYPAL, as confirmed by PayPal Senior Enterprise Account Manager, the funds have not been credited as you have no financial information registered with them.

When you contact the support again, please attach the email below:

''Account has no financials on account so payment did not complete. Please have the user contacting PayPal CS for support

Regards

I don't know why this would be a problem as I have withdrawn from Betfair to Paypal before with no problems but anyway I linked my bank account to Paypal so that this wouldn't be an issue.I also have contacted Paypal numerous times and they have given me several variations on this response.however each time they have promised to look into it they haven't got back to me.

Dear xxxx,

I appreciate your time and effort in bringing this to our attention.

I am glad to inform you that I managed to create a request to contact the merchant regarding this matter so we can help you to rectify this concern.

Let me assure you that your account is perfectly fine to accept funds.

It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing PayPal.

Yours sincerely,
Chel

That was last Friday so I rang them on Monday and was again told that they would contact Stars directly and I should get a response within 24 hours but still silence.

What's my next move here,Stars tell me to contact Paypal and Paypal keep promising to look into it but then just ignore me.Is there anyone else I can go contact to get this sorted out?

I doubt anyone here can help you OP. Just gonna have to wait till it gets sorted out I guess. Keep putting pressure on PS AND PAYPAL to get in touch with one another to straighten this out is the best advice I can think of. Also, low level CS is generally clueless, keep asking for your inquiry to be looked at by managers. Frustrating AF but GL

Edit- you can also try to PM any of the PS reps and direct them to your post. Would probably help move things along.

Okay yeah I might try that so,in fairness Stars have responded quickly and have answered my questions,I can see why they feel they've done all they can. It's Paypal that keep promising to look into it and then crickets.
I'll try a Stars rep just to see if they can move get things moving.

From reading I am gathering that pokerstars is saying that paypal said they had no information on you. My advice is to try and have pokerstars send confirmation of payment to you and then forward it to paypal. Call paypal , ask to speak to supervisor and ask how paypal doesn't have your financials as pokerstars is claiming. That payment went somewhere according to pokerstars so you need more detailed info as to where pokerstars sent the moneys;

It's 2016 and people are still using third party processors...

Paypal have told Stars they have no finanacial information on me,that is I hadn't linked my bank account to my Paypal account at the time of the withdrawal.I hadn't done that as it has never been a problem before and I made a withdrawal from Betfair in August and a deposit to Stars without this ever being flagged as an issue.

Stars say "We have reviewed your case again and can confirm that the funds were sent to PAYPAL, as confirmed by PayPal Senior Enterprise Account Manager" but Paypal customer service say they have no records of any transaction and then tell me they will contact Stars directly and keep me in the loop. Then nothing,Paypal just seem to forget about it every time.

I've contacted a Stars rep and he's said he'll try to help me so I'm just waiting to see what happens there. In fairness to Stars they have done everything I'd expect of them so far it's Paypal that seem to be just paying lipservice to my problem.

Paypal is much quicker for UK, probably same for OP in Ireland. Stars > Paypal > bank account takes ~15 minutes at most. Bank transfer/Visa from Stars takes a couple of days.

This has been resolved, the cashout was unsuccessful (I still haven't got an explanation why) and Stars refunded the money to my account.
