sweet thx.

hopefully they don't take offense and turn me down

how about Quick Tender? Am I special enough for that?

I'm gonna lay it on the line here. I cant be waiting up to a month for checks (then add in bank holds), I just cant deal with that. If that is the case there is no way i can feel comfortable playing on your site where I have to plan expenditures and withdrawals that far in advance, I just don't like to plan ahead like that. Couple this with what I consider ridiculous withdrawal fees and you guys are lacking in this department, so I hope that we can work out an arrangement where I dont feel so detached from my account balance.

New Cake wrinkle: I received my check for 6k in about 10days. Cool. Brought it to my local bank where I have a business account set up for my poker playing. I tried to DEPOSIT, not even cash, the check and was told it would be a $75 fee. The check was drawn on a Montreal Bank but was in US funds. They said this was a fee that bank passed on to them. Has anyone else run into this?

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

for you UMW guys, how much do you guys play at Cake? Whats your average rake look like for a month

Just to respond I DONT think it has anything to do with how much rake you bring in... I was a $100NL/$200NL regular on Cake for the longest time before I left after some issues with support. I recently contacted them about Quick Tender and they said its Quick Tender that has the stipulations that you have to meet, I'll paste a snip from an email I got from them:

In regards to UseMyWallet, you have not been sent an invitation so far. That does not have anything thing to do with the status of your account, as you are indeed a respected player. As stated earlier the criteria are set by UseMyWallet.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Kind Regards,

Kevin

i think its more about how often you withdraw or deposit and not about rake.

so basically i dont win or lose at a quick enough rate to qualify

that could be it, or it could be like others i know, they just build and move up stakes and never cash out. or maybe you started with a huge bankroll and you havent lost all of it yet.

seriously though, maybe an email to cake asking them to reccomend you to QT even though dont qualify, because if they dont you are going to have to leave the network. and if they do accept you, you are going to do more transactions then you used to.

Cashed out to QT last Monday afternoon and it hit either the next day or Wednesday morning- cant remember. Anyway, as it was pending I had second thoughts and canceled the transaction Thursday. Friday morning I changed my mind again and it just hit my account an hour ago.

Not bad all things considered, although I am still kinda regretting taking my action to Full Tilt in light of how slow their checks are coming. And to top it off, I am now becoming a HUD dependent wuss- with a HUD that bogs down my computer. Still, the games at Cake have really gone downhill lately, so wtf do you do?

It's really a shame things gotta be such a pain in the ass these days. Always with the cat-and-mouse games, all the while being stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I play daily 4 hours or so on cake. I just received a UMW account yesterday. All I did was send the following email:

Hello Cake Poker...
I would like to sign up for UseMyWallet for deposits and withdrawals however i understand this is by invitation only through the site. Do you offer this to us players? Also if yes how would I go about qualifying for an invitation link?

Thanks

Trudy

IN return I received this:

I've been playing on the site for about 4 months now and have just become recently active on it. I've made 1 maybe 2 deposits to the site, one in the beginning and one about a month ago when I couldn't do anything with my Netspend visa on FT.

I don't know what type of critiera they are looking for. that's just strange.

I am doing a $650.00 test w/d to see how long this takes. My bank thankfully does not charge me for wire transfers. Gotta love a milatary bank!!!

I just noticed EwalletXpress (or something like that) appear on the cashout screen for Cake. They are also accepted at Absolute. Maybe this is the beginning of some new processors.

I temporarily coudln't access their site and when the server came buck up I saw the new option listed. I only saw it because I was about to use QT for a withdrawal. I may hold off now because if this is for real I can withdraw to the new one, depo on Absolute, and withdraw using moneygram on there and get my money quicker and cheaper....woo hoo!

ewalletXpress also shows up on the web page as one of the deposit/withdrawal options now.

Their fees suck, but I am more interested in it as a way to move money between cake and absolute.

I have some $$$ on Cake that I would like to withdraw; I'd appriciate if someone can tell me the turnaround time for using the paper check option (assuming that option is availalbe at the time of the request). Also, those who have used UMW, what are the fees and how fast is it? Thanks in advance!

my boyfriend said checks take about 3 weeks.

I used UMW for the first time yesterday, had the money sent to my Quicktender account today, and requested it wired to my bank tonight. It should be there in about 3 days according to QT.

There is a $30.00 fee from QT and then whatever your bank charges for bank wires.

10% withdrawal fee charged by ewalletxpress? That is ludicrous.

i'll stick with UMW for now...I won't pay 10% on my cash outs...UMW is cheaper and for Ewallet it says 24-48 hours...UMW is 24hrs.

No thanks

ewalletxpress is up on cake.. yippee! more deposit options = more fish. Be nice if they'd send out an email to everyone registered to notify them

Just wanted to chime in with my check experience--I received the check in the mail the 6th day after requesting the check. This is in Nebraska, so I was surprised it was that fast. I haven't had any problems with the deposit yet, but it hasn't cleared yet (only been a day though). All in all, a good experience despite the fee.
