People don't go to forums to boast about how stable the game servers they play on have been. Also, there is more than just WPN and Ignition out there no matter what state you reside in. Check the OP of this thread for more info.

What factors do you consider when you say "best?"

Is there anywhere in US sites you can play low stakes mixed games? I would assume not, but I thought it was worth asking. Trying to branch out a bit.

The only site that spreads mixed games is SWCpoker. It's a bitcoin only site. Bitcoin in, bitcoin at the tables, and bitcoin out. Traffic is low, but that's the option. If you sit, with a new name, someone will join you and start a game I'm sure.

Otherwise, you'll have to mix and match sites to play Stud here, Draw there, and O8 somewhere else.

Haven't played or been online since black Friday. I'm ready to start again. I'm in CA. I'm looking to play low stakes JOB and PLO cash games. I'm will also be playing mainly from an Android phone. I don't know what site would be best. I'd like rakeback, bonuses, played rewards, etc. Please help point me in the right direction.

****low stakes NHL and PLO

Ignition software appears not to work with my phone. I tried 4g and two wireless connections. It just times out every single time. I can't even check. I guess I can try Grand. Where do I sign up to get rakeback?

No, just trying to play poker from my phone in my free time. I don't understand why Ignition keeps timing out. I've tried two phones.

The only sites with an Andriod client are Ignition and Grand. Horizon has a web based client that may work on your phone as well.

Ignition has no rakeback and after the initial deposit bonus, you're basically on your own with a 1-4% effective rakeback VIP program.

Grand has 50% rakeback or more, but has about 1/10th of the traffic that Ignition does and no deposit bonus.

Horizon has 36% flat rakeback and a deposit bonus and small monthly reload bonuses of ~50-$200. They have about 20% of the traffic that Ignition does.

I'm afraid there is nothing that exactly fits your needs.

I think you misunderstood what I was answering. Let me be more clear by quoting exactly what I was referring to:

Good point. I guess I mean softness in general, but would have to have at least 6-10 games running from PLO25-100.

Also preferably a site that is somewhat known,

So:

1. Softness
2. Number of games running
3. Trustworthy

Also, what sites are international and available to us players besides americas cardroom?

All of the ones in the OP, AFAIK, although of course that depends on what country you're in.

There are only perhaps 3 sites what fit the bill. You're looking at Ignition, Winning Poker Network (of which ACR is the flagship skin), and Chico Network (BetOnline, Sportsbetting.ag).

There are other sites, but none of them will have that much PLO action. Chico probably only has 6+ tables during prime time hours.

Technically Bobo is correct. ALL of the networks are international. However, I would nitpick just a tad regarding Ignition. As it is ONLY a USA site. Though it has a sister site Bodog, which ONLY allows Canadians, and a second sister site, Bodog88, which ONLY accepts China+Vietnam.

I think this nitpickiness could lead to a little misconception if the poster doesn't understand that by sister site, you mean they are on the same network, so if you're from one of the three other countries, you're able to play on a network with Americans.

But it's not bad that it was mentioned, because you've brought more specificity to my comment about it depending on what country one is in - I was mostly thinking of Bodog, knowing that he/she might not be able to play there. Of course depending on where he/she's from, that could apply to other networks as well.

Isn't it time to remove the Equity network from the 1st post? And edit that Merge is again accepting U.S. players?

Hello Guys,

Its been a while since I've been on the forum and a while since I've played. I'm a US Player. I stopped playing after the Bovada Crash of January 2016....

I'm itching to get back to an online table. What's something similar to Bovada. Anonymous tables, good payout, reliable software, soft play... I also like that Sports Gamblers would come to the table on Bovada and blow money... Sports betting isn't a necessity for me, just mentioning it since I believe it contributed to Bovada's soft play

Thanks

From active reading of the WPN, Bovada/Ignition and Merge cash out threads, I would say Bovada/Ignition.

I don't think any of them regularly take more than about 3 business days. Is that too slow for ya?

Any of the bitcoin-only poker sites such as SWC, Nitrogen, Betcoin will cash out in under 24 hours. Nitrogen is instant.

^^^ To be fair, the traffic on those sites is dismal in comparison to the sites in the OP.

Do the stud hi only games get going on acr? I've seen hi lo going.

Also, id love to find stud or mixed games like horse tournament or even cash games, what does swc have to offer for that stuff? I'm assuming no where else has anything like that, except if the stud plays on acr

Thanks

Yes, stud runs on ACR. Not many tables or 24/7, but it does run. If you want it to run, sit at a table.... a fresh face will likely spark up a game

SWC has virtually all poker games. The problem is, they have very little traffic to make them run. SWC is the only site available to Americans that runs mixed games... it's just that many times they are sub-penny games or none at all. The US market just doesn't have the liquidity to run mixed games right now... too many people think online poker is illegal

Thanks. I haven't played since black friday, and in the 3 years prior to black Friday I play about 1200 tournaments, so needless to say, I miss it lol. I opened up acr and was blown away by it. I thought I was looking at pokerstars. Tournaments with 800 players and people winning 30k, and the stud tables we discussed.

Now I'm confused, if cash outs are taking 3 days and we have these cool looking sites like acr with a bunch of traffic, why is the online poker situation in America worse than pre black friday? I mean, well I guess it's obviously not as good, but it definitely seems close enough for sure
. I once waited like 3 months or longer for a full tilt cash out

The only other offshore US-friendly network with anonymous tables is Chico Poker Network. Not all tables are anonymous, but some are.

Pretty sure they designed the site to look this way on purpose heh.

Agreed. And also, adding in the new Bodog network name now.

Edit to add: Looks like Mike Haven beat me to this (thanks to Kahn for the Post Report as well), but I'm changing what he posted for Merge US new player acceptance as I think goodsaint has this right - if anyone knows otherwise, please let us know.

Further edit: LOL @ me for not noticing "Bovada" - changed that to Ignition as well. Thanks again, Kahn.
