Inaccurate (you can verify in Commercial Software Forum).

Cake started allowing HUDs many months ago. As revolution, Poker Tracker and HEM had to make quick adjustments for Lock switching, but the Huds always worked on Cake and Intertops.
When was this?

The last time I tried to use a Hud on cake, late 2011/early this year, they wouldn't allow it.

Has the change happened since the start of this year?

If you visit the individual sw's sites (I have Hem), you will see the info.

A 5 second Googling of "Cake allows HUDs" shows me it was November 2011.

My quick question (sorry if not allowed or already answered) is what's really the best site to play on anymore for US players?

I was an avid FT player, loved the set up, and love skins like PS as well (although hated playing on that site)

Something with good support, payout (not taking forever) and good low to mid range tourneys/sngs/cash games.

Thanks guys...and gals

can anyone recommend a site for a New Yorker?

started playing poker in August 2011 on BetOnline. left around January of this year after strong suspicions of cheating that customer support refused to do anything about

deposited onto Cake this February, made some money and made a withdrawal on February 27th. i've yet to receive a check. i'm pretty much assuming that i've been robbed at this point. BetOnline may have had cheaters, but i was always paid within 1-2 weeks. more than 4 months = wtf

are there any decent sites for a New Yorker to play on? or should i just forgo playing poker at this point?

^america's card room. Unfortunately I'm a sng player and they load too slow, and my 2nd game after that would be LHE, and that doesn't run at all - so i've had to start brushing up on my NL cash games - only thing that seems to run decently there. Customer support is really good though, depositing is easy (visa card) and i've heard that cashouts are quick - just wish the software was a bit better and that the site got more traffic.

Yikes . I hope that is an isolated incident.

thanks FishAndChipss, gonna look into ACR and give it a shot if it looks legit. sucks about SNG's/LHE, but luckily i'm exclusively a NLHE cash game player. any second opinions on this site? in terms of traffic, cheating, customer service, and most importantly, payouts?

nope gtx, plenty of people have been waiting for upwards of half a year for their Cake checks. it seems like most people eventually get paid, but i'll believe it when i see it. some people received their checks after 5-6 months only for them to bounce. =/ pretty gross what online poker has come to ever since black friday.

Good site, volume is going up on cash games with the new rake race The Beast, I can usually get open 8 tables of 6-max/FR within 10 minutes. Only downside is that all the fish play on BBJ tables so expect to pay a lot of rake.

Hello all,

I am new to this forum and have found some very useful information, this is a great forum.

I really hope I am not repeating a thread already done, but i could not find one so I thought I would give starting one a try. If it has been, I am sorry.

Now I am from the USA, which suck really bad if you want to play online poker. Obviously its difficult to say the least. Looking through all these threads on what would be a good site has led me to a question......The same issue seems to be the same for ALL US sites.....payout issues. Are there any US players who use a site that does not have any payout issues? I dont need anything lightning fast, but waiting over a month is a bit to much.

I can't trust the opinion of someone who clearly needs to go back to school.

well i play on carbon i love their cashouts (have western union withdrawal available).. that being said lock is doing well but their payouts have slowed.... have heard nothing but good things about america's card room and how fast their cashouts are but when i went to sign up they said they had no rakeback before june 1st.. idk if they have rakeback now... merge checks are taking about 1-1.5 months sometimes earlier and currently lock/revolution is the same... but i trust more merge than i do lock...

Thanks for your reply?
How quick are ur payouts at carbon poker? I'm sure western union is fairly quick, but don't they charge 10%? Talk about rape lol Have you tried just a check?

Carbon uses the Merge cashier, thus, approx 4-6 weeks. WU, as a %, varies based on how large your withdrawals are...

Question posed in thread is which site/network has fastest cashouts to USA players.

The answer is True/ACR.

Best of luck.

DO NOT play on Cake Poker if you don't have an affiliate speeding up your cashouts. They eventually pay you, but the timeframe is 4-5 months compared to 1-5 weeks for players with the right affiliate.

How quick are the payouts through them? How do u like the site?
I tried carbon poker with play money just to get a feel for it, and I HATE the rabbit hunt option when u win a hand on a fold. If u dont know what that is, if u win to a fold, u can hit rabbit hunt n see the rest of cards to come.

i like the rabbit hunt, I also like that you can show just one card and muck the other

Yea, I do like the option to show one card. I personally wouldn't use the rabbit hunt. But the upside is if an opponent uses it, it shows there hole cards so u can gain info.
