I'm legitimately trying to understand why you would want to deal with Merge beyond this point. It just seems wrong to be talking about it like it's an actual real, functioning network when speaking to new players considering depositing. They should know that Merge isn't the place to do it.
When you say "You went through this huge withdrawal issue with them for over a year" are you referring to me? If so, you are sadly mistaken. If you're referring to others, I'll grant you that. However, in case you're not aware, Merge has done a 180 degree turn in regards to cash outs. It just seems wrong that the site with the best software and fewest interruptions compared to Ignition and WPN is a source of discomfort to you. Sorry that you may be in a part of New York that is not serviced by Merge. I'm quite sure you would be singing a different tune if you could play here. It's a site that caters to recreational players. Unlike WPN. And without the anonimity (sic) of Ignition. Merge being an actual real functioning network just indicates that you have resumed your trolling again. So be it.

I should acknowledge that cash game traffic is slow. Currently only 8 total tables in use from $.05-$.10 to $2-$5. Of course since there are no $.02-$.04 tables on this site, that would eliminate you even if you could play here.

You shouldn't have been using Circle to deposit directly to a gambling site anyway! I'd advise you to use Coinbase now if you are in the US. But do NOT use CB to directly deposit or withdraw from ACR or any other online poker/gambling site. Instead, use an intermediary wallet on your own computer or at a site such as blockchain.info.

**EDIT** Also a lot of good info here if you are willing to sift through the regular Bovada/Ignition chatter. Go back to about December 2016 and read forward ignoring anything about Circle because they no longer deal with bitcoin: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...nk-names-1553/

Hi All

I've been out of the Online Poker scene since black Friday. Currently living in California, what are my options (if any) for getting back into online poker? I read the opening post and didn't see anything for CA residence there. I'm mainly a SNG player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I think you misread the first post in this thread. You can access all offshore poker sites that service the USA in the state of California. None exclude the state.

With regard to SNGs, it depends on the type you wish to play, but you'll probably want to play on Ignition, Winning Poker Network, Chico Poker Network, or Horizon Network.

Unfortunately you won't find any mixed game action on the major offshore US-friendly sites because they do not spread mixed games at all. The only site that does is SWCPoker, a smaller bitcoin only site.

I wanna grind who has the best fastest cashouts and best action

ignition?

hows it going? im a 27 year old that has been in the poker seen since I was 18 played in and out of the scene but never made it a full time gig, actually I lied I played for 6 months rented out my own apartment but saw my money getting eating away with living expenses. Poker needs to play with stress free or you will never truly play your A game as they call it. Now as for my career ive just had entry level crap jobs lucky for me I was able to save a decent life roll. So Whats the point of the thread? the point is this is it, i'm gonna make a decent roll to where I can play full time and have enough money to start my at home business. instead of renting an apartment like I did before I want to buy a house. However I may need to rent low before I can do this. my life roll is a over 10k-12k. I currently live with my parents who are getting fed up with me there lol sad I know. But I have trouble with commitments in life, however my chit job I just recently had with the bank as set me over the edge, I cant do 20k in wages in a year I can do better I hope

So this is it I will play as much as I can till im rolled enough to get out of my parents place where I believe my life roll as to be 30k to be stress free and live on my own. Just a mental thing whatever.

I thought about going back to school for my business which I still plan to in my free time however that will always be in the back burner I need income now and it wont be at chit jobs anymore. Also I got into the stock market which is worse than poker lol However I would like to also become a part time trader which I wont talk about my losses in that for now. Lol

everyone is helpful here

This.

When you're in a big hurry for answers, a wise use of your time would be to do a little reading.

I'd be happy to help answer your question(s). However, the questions you've posed are quite subjective.

Please define "best action" more thoroughly. Do you mean "best action" in the sense that a particular offshore site has the softest limit PLO/8 games? Do you define "best action" as the offshore poker site with the greatest number of 10NL NLHE cash games? Be more specific.

Also, with regard to "fastest cashouts," what method(s) would you prefer to use? Money Gram? Bitcoin? Check? Or do you simply wish to know who will send a withdrawal in under 12 hours because 48 hours is far too long to wait? Be more specific.

Ordinarily their bitcoin payments are under 2 days.

How are the limit O8 games at ignition? I didn't migrate over when they split from bovada and I'm wondering if the games that were on Bovada are now at ignition. There was usually a 1-2 or 2-4 limit 08 game running on Bovada. Is that the case for ignition or are there no o8 games running?

I'd download the software, but don't see a point in adding it if the o8 games aren't there as that's what I like to play.

You might find your answers in the Bovada/Ignition Discussion Thread.

Played on ACR over the summer and liked it, received my cashout fast. Was wondering after reading some negative posts if I should go with Intertops? I play 90% plo. Thanks

There are negative posts on every single poker site in existence. People go to forums to complain for the most part

With regard to PLO on ACR vs Tops. You'll get more action and at higher stakes on ACR. Intertops's games are going to be softer, when they run. They both have solid rakeback/rewards.

Kahn - wondering why you left Carbon off your list. They still have the best software and now are allowing US players. Hopefully their traffic will improve due to that. But curious why you left them off.

I'm a small/mid stakes MTT player who recently got back in to playing and have been exclusively on Carbon. I recently started looking at Ignition and it seems like they have better MTT traffic and higher prize pools. However, I much prefer Carbon's software and the fact that the fields are generally pretty soft. How would Ignition compare in terms of softness? I'm thinking of making the jump but not quite convinced yet.

for micro and small stakes, i would say it pretty comparable. I actually find micro stakes at ignition to be a bit more looser where as ACR has more nitty play.

if you are 1000% convinced on only playing MTTs then I think ACR would be the slightly better option

The two largest sites for MTTs are Ignition and Winning Poker Network. Each is offering a few million a month in guarantees. Ignition has anonymous tables, unsynch'd breaks and freezeouts. WPN has rewards, HUD compatibility, and the overall largest prizepools due to re-entry nature. Ignition has the softer games while WPN has rewards that make up for their tougher games for the most part.

Each has its pros and cons, but both have an order of magnitude more MTTs than where you're at currently. I'd suggest trying one or both and seeing what you like best or playing on both.

Thanks guys... I took a look at the WPN subforum and looks like a lot of players are having issues with platform functionality/server crashing, etc. Kinda makes me want to stay away. But then again I really dislike the anonymous players and the software aesthetic of Ignition... ugh, I miss the good old days of Stars lol.
