Huh...yeah that'll get players back.

What's a "HUD"?

It stands for Heads Up Display. Programs like Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker can display player statistics directly on the tables.

FWIW...I logged into my full flush poker account this morning. They had a total of 21 players on their whole site. Anyone thinking of putting a big deposit in full flush, may want to reconsider. I also read that some players were waiting months before getting approval to do a cashout. Not a good sign.

Of course, when I asked full flush if they may be shutting down, they reassured me that things were improving on their site....I think they lie more, then hillary clinton or ted cruz.

You will still be able to play from NY. You will never be able to deposit again. Your cash out options may be limited to cash withdrawals only. If you play small stakes that might work for you, but anything higher and the cash only options can't keep up with winnings, and even when they can, eventually you get flagged by the cash processors. You may want to work on getting yourself a back up cardroom or two for when that eventuality occurs.

What makes you think they want players back?

I was looking for Poker websites that accept US players and came across Americas Cardroom. Does anyone know anything about it.

Also, what is the rules/laws for sites that accept US players.

Good tournaments but they don't have a long enough rebuy period.

Generally speaking: Bovada > Winning Poker Network > Chico Network > Merge > Revolution Network > Equity Network

Sorry for the delay in replying. Got busy around here. Anyway...

I went to the Winning Poker network's website and didn't find pretty much anything. There is a "Partners" page. Which one of those has the "freebuy" series you alluded to? All? And what's a "freebuy"? You mean freeroll? You get in free and there's cash prizes.

The WPN site only lists the partner sites of the network, for specific promotions you have to check those partner sites to get further information. A Freebuy is a Freeroll by default with cash prizes up for grabs, but players can also rebuy until the first break in case they bust.

Thanks for the info. I have emailed the Winning Poker Network and told them what I'm seeking. Hopefully they'll reply soon.

When you say "rebuy", you mean the tournament is a freeroll but if players want to get back in, they have to do a cash rebuy, right?

Correct. Hence why they came up with the name Freebuy, a combination of Freeroll and Rebuy.

Ugh! Just tried to search for Merge Network. It appears to be dead. Their webpage is now recommending other poker sites, such a Bovada and BetOnline.

Their web page wouldn't recommend other sites. You were probably looking at something else.

UPDATE: I just heard back from Bovada. To play in their freeroll tournaments, you have to earn points playing at their cash tables. That kills Bovada for me. Oh, and just FYI, due to something they said in their reply, it is also clear they skimmed my message so it is probably a good idea I didn't do anything with them as that indicates poor customer service.

Google "Merge Poker Sites" and scroll down to where that appears in the search results. On my browser, it was the eighth result. Click on the hyperlinked "Merge Poker" in the first paragraph.

You most likely stumbled over an affiliate poker site and they will definitely recommend what is best for them as well. With regards to Merge, they indeed had a rough time as of lately and the withdrawal times appear to be slowly improving again. To make up your own mind, use the search function on this forum and check the Merge (Carbon) withdrawal thread.
