Gotcha. That's why I edited that was a tournament table I watched. You are correct that there are no Stud cash games.

I've played both. While recently taking a break from Bovada I decided to try America's Card Room.

What a difference in the customer service compared to Bovada. Bovada has always been nice and offers easy deposits, easy withdrawals.

ACR is quite different... They require higher deposit minimums and cash out minimums. And to cash out you have to provide all kinds of documentation.

Plus the customer service at ACR is HORRIBLE. They give you the run around, no one is on the same page about anything. It's all "fluff".

Anyone else notice a difference between the two sites?

Are there any other US sites that have 109+ MTTs on Sundays in the US outside of WPN/Bovada and Merge? Haven't found anything else but maybe im missing some

What irritates me the most is I put some money on there to play since Bovada was just being awful as far as lag / disconnects are concerned, with the assumption I could withdraw it later if need be via bit coin, only to discover they apparently disabled bit coin as a withdrawal method for a lot of players. Of course you can deposit via bit coin, because they want your money, but they don't really want to give it back.

I'm going back to Bovada since the client right now is stable for me. **** ACR if they're going to pull that kind of crap with cash outs.

Nope. Those are all the sites that offer higher buy-in MTTs.

Every US-friendly offshore site that isn't a pure bitcoin site is responsible for doing Know Your Customer checks. KYC checks are ID and proof of address scans that ALL sites require before withdrawing. Furthermore, if you deposit with a credit card you should be prepared to provide scans of the front and back of the credit card used.

All quite standard.

They had to temporarily suspend the bitcoin withdrawals because there was an issue with fraud. In the meantime they have more cashout options, even without bitcoin, than does Bovada.

Still, even without bit coin, they're just as good as Bovada on cash outs from what I've read and as long as bitcoin exists they're far superior.
You shouldn't use Circle to deposit / withdraw bitcoin directly with any online gambling site. You're just begging to get your account closed.

There is no reason to get hostile and think conspiracy with regard to bitcoin. If you need to make a bitcoin withdrawal, simply contact live chat. Odds are that if you are an active player, they will process a bitcoin withdrawal for you.

Later, when they've worked out all the kinks in the bitcoin system, most players will have access to bitcoin withdrawals (perhaps brand new players withstanding).

I don't use Circle directly...I use block chain as an intermediary.

Interesting that they didn't mention that when I emailed them. They told me it was related to limitations they were having with their payment processor. I wasn't given the option to have Bitcoin withdrawals re enabled for my account. If fraud is the case they should just be open and tell us...I think everyone including myself would be understanding of them temporarily stopping Bitcoin withdrawals for that reason.

FWIW I tried to log on to Bovada tonight and couldn't even get a few tables going without the client crashing. I virtually never have disconnect / lag issues with ACR, even after they update, so not only is their client way more stable but you're right they still have more withdrawal options since I can always request the debit card.

They were open and told us about it being about fraud. The CEO of WPN recently did a twitch stream where he said that they had to suspend the bitcoin withdrawals because there had been a problem with fraud. He said that he didn't want to get into the specifics of the fraud but that bitcoin would be reinstated once they got things worked out.

What other site does the CEO talk directly to the players?

Well, to be honest I don't really watch twitch, so I didn't know that he did that. To be fair that's actually pretty cool of them to be so open.

+1 for WPN.

The first post of this thread has a list of sites where you can play. That list is kept fairly up to date. Living in Georgia you should be able to play on any of the sites that offer online poker in the US.

Maybe one of you guys can figure this out.

BookMaker offered me a 100% deposit bonus with the following rollover: " It is 100% in sports 20 times rollover, 100% casino 80 times rollover, 100% on poker by rake up to $500 free play."

I asked multiple support people what is meant by poker by rake because it's not clear how much rake I have to generate but the fools only give a response that explains what rake is. My thought is that it is 100% of the deposit, so if I were to deposit $500 I would get the $500 bonus and have to rake $500. Anyone know?

Bookmaker is part of Winning Poker Network. You could just go to Americas Cardroom, Black Chip, or True Poker and get a 100% up to $1,000 bonus instead. Takes 5k in rake to clear 1k bonus.

I'm not all that good familiar with online play rules, so when I saw that US players can still play, I was excited and started doing a little research.

I live in Kansas and saw the best three recommended are:

1. Bet Online Poker
2. Sports Betting Poker
3. America's Cardcoom

Anyone have a recommendation out of those, or ones I didn't mention, that is the best choice to play on?

I'm normally a 2nl player, so I play micro stakes, if that affects anything.

Thanks in advance for your information.

Those sites are fine. There's also Grand Poker Network and Full Flush poker.

In so far as the first 2 sites in your list, they are the same thing (same games, promotions and owners). The games are soft, but there are no player rewards.

The 3rd in your list is part of the Winning Poker Network. The games are a little tougher, but they offer a lot more in player rewards.

Ultimately, the choice is yours as to how you like to earn your money, i.e. on the tables, or via rewards.

Thank you so much for your informative reply!

I play so such low stakes I probably don't earn very much rewards but I know that does appeal to a lot of others so I might go to America's Cardroom.

Hopefully tougher games can't also help advance my game as well.

Thanks again!

I quit playing when most of the U.S sites shut. Been playing fake money poker lately got the urge to play real money. I started checking around to see if it was legal. Last couple evenings Ive been searching different sites. Looked around the forums here and I'm still not sure if its legal where I live Ohio or at least a site I can play real money and not get ripped off whenever I get a payout. I have beem getting conflicting info at different sites and I have noticed some of the sites ate from like 2012. The forum topics here aboit the different sites go back quite a few years. Finally since I'm unsure I thought I would ask.

When I Googled "poker legal in U.S" I had a lot of sites recommending Betonline. Yet looking through these forms I've seen a lot of bad reviews.

I tried Poker Stars. It said I couldn't play for real money in Ohio. I think just Nv Nj

I dled WSOP but couldnt play real money because I live in Ohio.

Anyway I've spent a few hours last couple nights trying to find a place to play and still dont know. Could someone here let me know where I can play? Maybe other Ohio residents.

Thank you

Btw. I made this post in the wrong forum. Was using my phone and hit the wrong link. Tried to delete it but couldnt find the edit or delete button. There is an edit button on this post but not on the one in the other forum page.

FYI unless you really got a monster like a boat or quads, don't bother slow playing. The LAG tards on ACR will call you down anyway if they have any reasonable hand because they'll assume you're bluffing. I'm quite shocked how often I get paid off actually.

Bovada or the WPN sites (winning poker network has a bunch of different "skins" but same player pool from "Americas card room/acr r black chip Bovada is sketchier site and has had some lag issues I don't know if fixed. WPN has good take back and such and p big mtts.

Both are fine to get paid from a lil sketch either way for first timers but it's legit

Any no deposit bonus codes for online poker? I live in Boston and have been out of the game since '09...Preferably a site with rakeback.

The first post in this thread lists a number of sites you can play on besides BOL.

There are sites that offer rakeback to players and some of those sites use deposit codes, and those sites offer games to players from Boston Massachusetts.

Check the first post in this thread and maybe try Google. Alternatively, ask more specific questions for more specific answers

Hi SantaCruz

Is this an accurate list of Washington State sites?

Washington: Bovada + Chico + Equity + Grand

I might be moving back home ... primarily a question
about Bovada, and is BetOnLine still not an option there?

Thanks,
