hey,

I normally join a site and just build a bankroll in freerolls but i actually wanted to throw in some money. [due to most us sites not running a ton of freerolls]. i have did a little research on this forum as well as checked out a few of the poker sites. I originally won a free roll on betonline. then found out the pretty ify and just bet my money away.I have downloaded several different poker skins and read up on them. i was just wondering if there is a us player that can tell me where he puts his money and has no problem thus far. like i said i play low stakes but its only cause i dont make a lot =p. any help is appreciated pls no flaming.

Hey guys,

I used to grind years back on PS /FTP, haven't really played much at all since that dreaded day.
I'm from USA, if that isn't clear, :P
Anyways, I am looking to get back into it, purely to burn time and as a hobby. What site would you suggest to play with a very very small starting bankroll(0, probably), and probably what site has a lot of freerolls to grind to start that bankroll?

PS: Sites with a signup bonus would be great also!

Thanks,
-Chris

Any particular benefit of using one skin over the other if they're part of the same network? IE
revolution gaming has cake, lock, red star. I would assume they all use the same software and they share the same player traffic as well?

Different skins have different cashout times, reward programs and customer service. They do all share the same player pool.

Do you mind addressing the differences in the each Revolution skins in these aspects?

Is the software the same on each skin?

Lock uses their own cashier, has promos that other skins don't, and different cashier that has WU withdrawals, and the vault. Cake cashouts are checks only and those take months. Intertops stopped accepting US players recently. Everything else is the same.

Redstar poker has their own cashier too, I've never played there so can't comment on it but their cashouts are suppose to be pretty quick.

Sounds like Lock is what I'm looking for.

If I wanted to deposit $500, would I be better off doing a transfer on 2p2 and getting a discount or doing a deposit with Lock directly so I can take advantage of sign up bonus?

Also, I need to sign up through a rakeback provider to get rakeback correct?

Make a small deposit to get a bonus and do the rest through 2+2 transfer seems like the best option imo. You can use the code repeatedly too. I've used it probably 5-10 times lol.

I don't play on Red Star currently, but I will be soon. They are probably the best skin on Revolution and have check payouts and WU transfers. Checks take just 1-2 weeks. As a US player you'll have to email support whenever you want to cash out, and they do have a separate cashier than the rest of the Revolution network.

Any word on Black Chip Poker? I am watching some vids on bluefirepoker.com and it looks like leatherass is playing 25/50 there so he must have faith in it.

For those who may have missed it, LTE Poker has just announced in their official thread that they are "... looking for 200 US 2+2ers to join", as long as they meet certain conditions.

Thanks. Just PMed the rep about joining. Do you know how much traffic the site has? I glanced at Pokerscout and don't see them on there.

Red Star stopped accepting new US players today. Existing players are allowed to continue on the site.

I have played on Red Star before, they are decent but mostly cater to Russian players.
They are the only poker site I know that offers a no deposit bonus via your poker cash ( at least they did ) to Israeli players due to the large Russian populace here.

LTE has very minimal traffic at first glance, but if you join on a table and sit a moment it seems to fill up quickly. Great software , no tournament selection whether it be heads up , single table, or scheduled tourneys due to small player base.

Other than that they look good for ring play with rakeback and such.

Looking for a new US poker room. Have played on Lock Poker recently. Didn't like the software seems kinda slow and choppy. Looking for something with a good amount of SnG and Turbo tournaments. I have Carbon already doesn't seem to crowded at times. Played Bovada but that also seems kinda dead at times.

The 3 sites you mentioned have the highest traffic in the U.S. Lock (Revolution network) has the most traffic and a bit behind are Carbon (Merge Network) and Bovada (Bodog) which are pretty close together. I'm not an SNG player so I can't comment on that but these are the three highest traffic sites in the U.S and are probably the best options for SNG since they have the most traffic.
