WPN Software is also pretty tilting so I don't think that is much of an argument.

If RB is a huge part of your win-rate then I'd say go with WPN (wouldn't be too scared of the regs there honestly)

bovada hides their full tables, so there are a bunch of full tables you cant see

carbon doesn't have rakeback either

Poker is an economy/ecology, when rewards are removed, so are regs who depend on them. What is left is a better recreational:regular ratio, and the profit (bb/100) improves accordingly for many winning players (those that stick around to find out).

I.E. in most cases, it works out in the end if one acts like a poker player, and adjusts strategy based on all game conditions and factors.

which websites are those? the merge network, of which carbon is a part, doesn't offer rakeback for players any more. they used to, in the past. perhaps some of the sites you're looking at have old info on them?

you might find the merge-specific thread interesting. here is a link to the most recent page in this very long thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...l#post44042107

BBB is correct. There is no longer rakeback at Merge/Carbon. Flat rakeback was discontinued in January 2013 and hasn't existed since. Any website saying something contrary is extremely out of date, or telling lies.

Full tables on Bovada are hidden, I can tell you Bovada has more tables and it isn't even close. That being said you can only play on 4 games on Bovada, so if your a big multi-tabler you may want to try WPN.

FWIW...

I just tried to register on Intertops... got as far as the sign up process and then received an automated message saying that my account was "disabled".

Just a few mins later received an email from Intertops saying "Welcome to the site...blah, blah..."

Contacted the online help option and was told that "we are currently not accepting new US Players at this time."

Gave it a try and fell flat... sigh...

On a side note... I'm located in the SCAL area.... seem like the only options to play online are Merge/Carbon, WPN/BlackChip, and Bovada...

Am I missing anything?

Intertops allows new USA players via invite only, so you'd have to do the registration process after getting an invite from someone who has them. Merge, WPN, and Bovada are the other bigger networks, and all allow California players. There are a couple smaller networks too, like the Equity network, and Seals with Clubs (a Bitcoin site) which should also be California-friendly

Anyone have info/opinions on the Chico network? I see it has the 3rd highest traffic for US sites according to pokerscout but I don't think i've read anything about it on 2+2 or met anyone who's played there.

I guess you don't read this forum much, then. A search of this forum should find you plenty of results for Chico and some of its skins like BetOnline and PayNoRake.

Bovada or ACR (Americas Cardroom)

There is also SealsWithClubs if interested in bitcoins.

These three rooms have a good history of cashing out and players seeing their money, more info on the rooms all through this thread I see though.

WPN is th best place for sng grinders. By far the best incentives and promos, they just beefed up their SNG leader board, it is a weekly promotion with some attractive payouts. Come one, come all. 6 max DONs are the overwhelming favorite game but other games run, we need to get other games running more frequently

WPN should have BetCoin added as a valid site - and all US can play there.

im not sure of specifics but WPN does allow betcoin now. there are an influx of new players at WPn and they all have "bc_" and then their player name, indicating they are at betcoin

They need to add cash games to the wpn traffic.

Well, I agree, and I'd like them to, but US players:
1) Can still play tournaments on WPN
2) Can play cash games for btc only on Betcoin

So the OP IMO still needs an update

Yeah I'm with you on adding it to the OP. But cash game traffic on betcoin is super super slow, might get a couple of players in the micro stakes a few times a day, I mad the top 50 in their cash game promo playing one session that was 15 minutes long.

Are these 25-50nl games that are running on Lock soft?

Also how high do the games run? And does anything higher run semi-regularly?
