Thank you very much for the information, will read the intertops thread now...

Intertops only takes U.S. players via invitation. Invites are hard to come by.

I've figured that out by now, annoying....I guess time to buy some bitcoins.

Any suggestions for a mac user?

As far as buying BTC? Coinbase is still the best option as far as I know. There are others with better policies regarding needing less verifying information I've heard but I've no experience with them. It will just take about a week for your 1st transaction with Coinbase. But that's pretty much the simplest, easiest method for getting into the BTC world.

SWC does have a Mac client I believe. I just play on the web browser personally, but no saved HH's that way.

You're welcome, the more players on SWC (and in general BTC) the better!

We'd probably do you more of a service to point you to a site that doesn't have players who are waiting for more than a year for cashouts. That would be every site but Lock.

I made 2 account on Carbon but it was an accident. They dont like if you have more than 1. It is also prohibited by the Carbon rules. If you wanna change it, get contact to the support, they ll help u. If you wanna be sure, that they dont deny your withdrawal, then dont make another account!

I definitely would not go with Lock. They do not pay people their money from what i have read.

I have spent the last two days researching the poker sites that allow United States players, and the ones I liked the best are Bovada, Carbon, and AmericasCardroom. I downloaded all three softwares and played on each with PLAY money. I like Bovada the best, and will try to make a deposit in the next few days. They are all outside the jurisdiction of the DOJ. And I know Carbon and Bovada do not have .com address, which means the DOJ can not seize the sites, at least I think they can't.

So far, it seems Bovada has the most traffic, at least for the SNG's. It looks like their traffic is comparable to the early days of fulltilt. Probably 2000-5000 users on at peak times. I will try multi tabling their sng's, but I don't know if they have enough traffic to make it worth it.

Thanks Everyone for the info, and I will continue to report back on my experiences with these companies.

like i said i haven't deposited on that account yet that i have on carbon. so im going to talk to customer support see if they can't change the one i have to hindges and if they prolly will but i will also warn them that i won't make a deposit on my one account if i make another account so i can use hindges.

i heard someone couldn't withdrawl and got banned for two usernames on carbon. also wanna get some info about rakeback if go there.

but i only have like 50 bux on mastercard so im going to deposit on bovada again prolly.

i personally play more cash games then sit and go's but it seems like everyone that has actually made a lot of money playing poker does it with SNG's so or MTT. which i like to. bovada is funn. cept like 2 years they banned for like a week for no reason.

Carbon doesn't take Mastercard unless something recently changed that I'm not aware of.

Account names can't / won't be changed in such circumstances. You could sign up to their sister site Aced, or on PokerHost, both on Merge Gaming Network. 2 accounts is no good and will be noticed/closed down.

The higher hourly rate is, was, and likely always will be in cash games. Cash game players just don't get the same public recognition

You can play on Bovada from Washington State, you might want to update OP.

Worth mentioning that SoC had a DDoS attack on the site today or yesterday. I only skimmed the article but it sounded like they are still down after 24 hours.

Yes they are having some problems right now. I managed to take down 2nd in the 1.5k and 3rd in the 2k rebuy last night during a break in the DDoS. They have a large target on their back it seems. Still the only site I play on right now.

Lock is a scam/ponzi, do not play there. You can play on Intertops (if you know someone that can give you an invitation) and Seals.
