Hey Thank you AP for the good words.

Going to get back into online play with Bovada and Ignition bc of the anonymous play. Still growing skills.

Sooo looking forward to playing again. Now that I've got more time.

Thanks agn AP

I know Horizon (formerly Cake/Intertops) has some very limited stuff in this department but I haven't even downloaded their software in a couple of years. I'll go give it a look but I thought I'd ask here, too: Where can a US player find heads up cash online?

I am wondering why the entire OP is not replaced with that updated page by BF.

Pure Cash HUs, elusive. I have seen big stakes sit out on WSOP in this regard. I sometimes find a HUs game on ACR for a little while but that usually doesn't last. I have hard of people arranging HUs matches on there.

In Bet Online I actually have seen HUs SNGs and the only place I've seen them. I think Ignition no longer offers HUs if they ever did?

It's more out of respect for detdet's original work and for historical interest than anything else.

That's improved, but how on earth do you expect anyone to be able to find that?? At a minimum you should put a link or a page # for the updated info at the top of the OP.

Off the top of my head the following sites aren't listed: Stock Poker, PokerBros, Coinpoker (may have been listed?).

Yes. From the Edit History I see that I changed the existing bolded first line of the OP from:

"Text Changes
- [Also see linked updated post at bottom of this post.]

to:

+ Edit/MH: Please see changes and updates at https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/s...postcount=6702"

for those who didn't read the first line and/or look at the bolded link at the bottom of the OP.

I do admit I expected people to see one or both of those previous two lines, which I thought were placed in the two most noticeable positions, but I'm pleased you have now read at least one of them.

It probably could use some updating as it has somehow already been over 4 years since I put that together.
I'm not as familiar with all of the current options as I once was, but if nobody else wants to do it I can probably do some research to make an updated one at some point later this year.

I'm just getting fully back in the loop, myself. What I do see is that a ton of betonline traffic has migrated to other sites. It has a fraction of the amount of players online during peak as it used to and also a fraction of what wpn has online at any given time.

So - I'm pretty stuck on wpn and global without any other clear options left. Ignition no longer allows New York players. I have an account on Horizon but it's been forever since I've logged in. Very little traffic there, as well. Going to start incorporating some live play for the first time alongside my online volume.

Another thing to note: Americans are losing opportunities to play zoom poker full time. BetOnline's pools fluctuate greatly and even are empty at times. WPN goes from 10z to 50z with no gap in between. Global doesn't have any surge/zoom and Ignition isn't available to everyone. Far more regular tables running on all sites and stakes than there used to be until you get to ROW sites.

Isn't there a high risk of cheating via GTO Wizard with the anonymous play?

It's unlikely you got Fred in Iowa using GTOW to cheat you at 5 NL on Ignition. If you really suspect you're being cheated and there are long pauses you could still keep the hand number(getting your money and proving it, may be another story). WSOP or Global had some accusations. One was cleared some others were not as far as I know at this point. (GTOW does have a tracking feature if you suspect it so you could run it through them if someone is taking a long time and playing too perfectly)

The skill level required to cheat you and to use GTOW would well, be a little bit of a task but RTAing maybe, becoming more of a thing and especially where the $ is and where there is an individual clever enough to utilize all the ways it could be done. Long term this will probably get built in like bots and people will just quit online poker or the software will have to evolve. Perhaps why fast poker or hyper fast poker may become a thing. No time to cheat(until the hardward gets fast enough or the software catches up)

Thinking of hoping back in Ignition for a few weekend mtt's in that $20-$100 range. Are field sizes decent nowadays? I haven't played in a while.

The best choice for MTTs is actually ACR, but competition is tougher usually. Iggy has some options though I think for America 2nd best for MTTs. 20-100 range though is not bad for Iggy. I liked a few those options.

Hello,

Big online in early 2000's on pokerstars//party poker and then full tilt. stopped playing around 2010 and now I come back and pokerstars has very small player base. From what i've seen i'm limited to playing with only people in my state (PA). Is there a better site currently where I can play against national and international comp? TIA

Merry Christmas! Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season.

So here's the deal. I'm in the US, living a few hours from the nearest casino, so online play is ideal for me at this time. I have years of live play experience (NLHE, mixed games, Big O), but have stepped away from the game for a few years, so I have the opportunity to start something fresh here. I'll be enrolling in a training program and possibly getting some coaching for my chosen game this coming year.

I want to choose a game I can really dive into for 2024 and get as good as I possibly can. With the options available online to US players, what is the most profitable and enjoyable game to play? Yes, these two are related! I could go on ACR and play tournaments or PLO. I could play mixed games, 5 card PLO, or OFC on SwC. Maybe HUNLHE? What site do you like to play on? What would you suggest to someone in my shoes?

Thank you, and have a wonderful day!

Ignition Poker first, Global is okay, BetOnline is okay, ACR is high traffic... these sites have the most traffic I've seen. ACR #1(for traffic) Iggy #2(for fun)

https://www.reddit.com/r/poker/comme...ncar_for_3870/

People were complaining about WPN being rigged 10+ years ago and getting permabanned here on 2p2 for it. WPN has never been legit and yet people keep playing here. US players really do have like no options left. What are you going to do, play only on Global?

What a joke.
