re: Where Can US Players Play? (the 1st post has an April, 2012 UPDATE)

I thought i read that merge is currently accepting us customers again. Is that right. The reason why i ask is because it seams on merge peak traffic typically runs between the hours of roughly 6:00pm-11:30pm with player traffic that fairly consistently fluxes between 10k-11k.
What just seams odd is that thats pretty much the same player traffic during peak hours ive been looking at for months. And its hard to believe if thier open registering new us players that traffic doesnt pop 12k on the reg.
Just saying

They never stopped accepting US players, but they resumed accepting new US players a couple of months ago.

I still have the same questions regarding no apparent bump in traffic.

Maybe people don't want to play on a tight, nit infested, regular network like Merge, hence no bump.

I have an old merge account through play aces skin (players only). Can anyone refresh my memory when they pay there rakeback? Although I haven't looked into there new VIP program, I'm guessing the old rakeback deal is still more profitable?

Not enough tables running on minted. So I guess I'll go back to playing on merge.

re: Where Can US Players Play? (the 1st post has an April, 2012 UPDATE)

i've been playing on merge since black friday, ande before it never topped 10k players at all. Now daily during peak traffice hours it tops 10k so there def has been a influx of more players. It's only american site with alot of tourneys and a good amount of sit n gos running all day. I 8 table sit n gos all day at 5$ and 10$ anything over $20 is just a few a hour.

re: Where Can US Players Play? (the 1st post has an April, 2012 UPDATE)

I play at betonline and haven't had any problems. Only issue is the site is VERY limited with respect to games (low-mid limit holdem and Omaha only) and the tournaments suck. However, it has a very active sports book tied in and is actually one of the major sports books quoted by US publications like USA Today. Works for me since I don't mind play 1/2 NL Holdem and .50/1 or 1/2 PLO but probably not for everyone.

Recommend me a poker site (im currently in US, but not US resident)

As the topic says. I am from Serbia but currently living in US (Wyoming state). I would like to play on any poker site that can be played from US with no bigger problems with deposits/withdraws.
I have fully working Moneybookers account linked to my Serbian bank account. If it matters i can make deposits using that MB account so i have nothing to do with US banks. Also i have a US Visa Debit card available.
Can you recommend me poker site and best way to register/deposit? Should i register with my current US address or maybe use my address i have back home (in case i deposit over MB) I have my passport with both Serbian address and US address in case they request scanned ID for possible withdraws. Is there any site that fits me?

Thanks.

OK thanks but can i have some tips about what info to put when i register? Is it safe to put my current address in US (its college dorm address btw) and deposit with my US Visa Debit? Is it safe? Or i just register and pretend that im still in Serbia (put my Serbian address) and deposit via moneybookers?

I'm very happy with them all and I see no reason to play all of them personally...The issue with Bodog is the possibility of it being unable to get a US Liscense when we make them cause of the online sports betting. I personally enjoy Carbon and Minted though. And if you love sit and gos Minted/Everleaf is running freeroll "Steps" 6 step free rolls via sng..good way to alternate site and build a bank roll IMO.

I currently play on Cake. Im a USA player. I see a lot of you guys talking about Merge. Is that the name of the site? For some reason having a problem downloading it. That seems like a decent amount of traffic compared to most poker sites.
