Re: BetOnline poker room / sportsbook - US facing

I can't download the client to look at traffic without registering. Is anyone else able to see what kind of traffic is in the lobby?

Looking at the Help/About - it is apart of the HeroPokerNetwork, which I have never heard of but goggle shows results for the network and other sites such as bigpondpoker also never heard of it..

online poker in the US

Is it really impossible to play online for real money in the US, or is there a way around it?

Re: Where Can US Players Play?

If you had to chose between Minted Poker or Cake Poker which would you choose?

Re: Where Can US Players Play?

Also, since I can't get rake back on Bodog or Carbon/ Lock Poker, do they have good promotions that would make it worth it? Does either of these sites Run good multi-table tourneys cause I've been spoiled by Tilt's great tournaments.

Cake Poker is shady - see the stickied thread in this forum about them stealing from a 2+2 player.

I've never played on either, but since Cake steals, I'd go with Minted, which I've seen a couple of good and no significant negative posts/threads about.

What site is the safest place for US players to play right now, if any? I noticed Carbon and a lot of websites aren't offering US players to make accounts right now - are any websites? I searched around but there just seem like so many options I don't know where to begin

EDit: I am an idiot, found thread on page 2 - plz delete

Re: Where Can US Players Play?

Kind of a weak move by mods to move the BetOnline thread in here.

Nobody was aware of it before; surely no one will become aware of it now, as it is buried with a million repetitive questions about Cake, Merge, Bodog, Yatahay and Everleaf.

It seems that many rooms are allowed their own thread in the zoo. Why not BetOnline? I think you guys are missing the point of merging threads on this one.

Don't you think a thread titled "Where Can US Players Play?" is exactly the right thread for it?

No one was interested in your stand-alone thread. Now it will be read by everyone looking for the sites where they might play.

Why don't you give a review?
