If he already has an account, he probably already has RB or can't get it anymore

PokerScout could have helped you out

Yeah Merge is your best bet right now in terms of traffic wise open to US players. You needed to create your name before the June 1st cutoff for US signups. If not, then your next stop would be Bodog or the Everleaf network.

Why would he do his own research or even use the search button when he could just start a new thread and have other people do it for him?

Another option is to use parallels on your Mac and access all US friendly sites.
Parallels is the way to go. I run bodog with it and it works perfect

I agree and think that Mac users should consider this for Poker Reasons and non Poker Reasons.

Anyone have any experience with cashout with Intertop Poker?

What/where is the best place to download parallels for a mac?

I play on cake right now and receive 33% rakeback. Since the cashouts have come to a near standstill, I'm looking to move my bankroll elsewhere. The only other sites I'm signed up to are Fulltilt and Pokerstars, obviously US players are currently not welcome at these sites. So i'm wondering if anyone knows where a grinder who plays 14k hands a week could sign up and receive rakeback (US)?

dido was gunna do RPM on merge but just found out they stopped accepting american players 2.

I would assume that once Merge re opens, you should be able to find a skin that will give you at least a 35% RB deal.

I'd just keep my ear to the ground.

Which site is the best for U.S. players considering everything- Payout reliability and speed, software, games, size of tournaments...everything. Let's get some nice feedback here.

Is there any word on when this is acutally happening? I've been waiting for what feels like forever.

If you want RB then your limited too an Everleaf Skin(Minted Poker) or Yatahay skin(True Poker) since you already have a Cake account. Bodog doesn't offer RB and Merge has stopped new US sign ups and moved from RB to a VIP Program.

Minted Poker has 40%RB+Deposit Bonus(~20%)+RakeChase through some affiliates (10%+)+ Skin promotions. They have the fastest available cashouts for US residents and I've received all my Cashouts from Minted Poker in under 3 days and on average 24-48 hours . The main downside is the traffic isn't as much as Cake. Also, the traffic is mainly 6max.

True Poker has 27%RB+Deposit Bonus. They have fast Cashouts also. I've received multiple paper checks in under 2 weeks. The problem is the traffic is worse then Minted Poker.

You could play on Minted Poker or True Poker for 2-3 months and then be eligible to open a new Rakeback account on Cake. You could open an account at Intertops which has much faster Cashouts then Cake because they use their own Cashier and not the Cake Cashier.

After the big bust of the poker websites in the U.S. I decided to stop playing online poker for a while. Now a few of my friends are telling me there are some poker sites that are legal in the U.S. but are heavily regulated. One of them says he is playing on Bodog. My question is are there any legal poker sites in the united states that people can play with real money? And is Bodog one of them?

Bodog is probably your best bet

All sites are operating in a gray area so there is always some risk but if u do a bit of research and find the sites with the best cashouts, u can lower your risk of keeping a lot of money online if something does happen.

Paging TiltTheTilt, paging TiltTheTilt...

Did you not see the giant thread with well over 1000 comments entitled "When can US players play?"?
08-28-2011 , 01:46 AM
Why should he be bothered with that when he can make a new thread that will soon be moved and clutter up the front page? I mean, come on.

PS- I hate what Black Friday has done to this forum, sigh.

merge still not accepting US players ?
08-28-2011 , 02:53 AM
bodog isn't "legal"

the only explicitly legal sites are the subscription sites like clubwpt, but those are all rubbish.

What is the RakeChase? I'd definitely like to sign up for all the rake I could before I make an account. Also, when you say I could play for 2-3 months and then be eligible to open a new rakeback account on cake, are you referring to opening up a new account on intertops? That part confused me and I wasn't sure what you were referencing. I'm definitely looking to switch over to Minted as long as they'll have at least 8 tables of .25nl or .50nl 6 max. Ty.

Rake chases are competitions of who can rake the most, often run by affiliates or sites themselves. They're a motivational tool used by sites to motivate people to play more. What TTT is referring to is the three month window you have to wait in order to obtain a rakeback account on another skin on the Cake Network. It has been speculated before that even logging in can reset the clock on that window however I am not 100% sure the conditions of this window has ever been confirmed, maybe someone else can comment on that. Either way, at this point it does seem Intertops would be the best Cake skin left for US players, as we know their cashout time frames are much better then cake itself and most likely the fastest on the entire network now with the departure of PPN. If you're planning to playing on Everleaf and your concern is volume, you're probably better off playing on Merge/Bodog/Intertops too so you have something to play when the number of players drops after 8PM EST-ish.

Thanks for explaining all that for me I'm not too concerned with volume though like i said, as long as there is close to 6-8 tables in between that .25nl-.50nl range I should be ok. I would love if anyone had any info about switching from cake to intertops and the 3 month waiting window for rake. Thanks again.
