I remember a site called Games Grid. When TonyG first got going they were a skin of Games Grid. You could actually play at the same table at the same time from Games Grid and Tony G on one computer. So it was a bit spooky with that being allowed. I was told that and played heads up against myself once to check it out.
The one good memory I have is that it was pretty much all US players.
They booted all US players in October 2006. They had a $3,000 guaranteed
once a week. They left it up the weekend after the US players got booted. Being Canadian I could play.
There were 4 or 5 players in the tourney, and I won.
And they paid me.
Maybe i shoud have played from Tonyg too and got 1st and 2nd.
Not long after that tourney they shut down.
I think they have reinvented themselves and come back.
