Whats the rake situation as we approach 2017? Whats the rake situation as we approach 2017?

Hey guys,

Do we have a thread anywhere with some detail about rake and rake back across the various sites/networks? I'm interested for cash games. I guess I can safely say rake has increased and rewards went south but Id like to see some number crunching if its been done recently enough.

Where can I find the most detailed and up to date info on rake at different stakes, how its calculated, rake back offered and ultimately where we should be playing based on our volume?

Would anyone be interested in doing some calcs if nothing recent is already out there? Id really like to evaluate options before kicking off 2017.

Thanks in advance, happy Christmas to all and best of luck with the 2017 grind

Mods can this thread be moved back to "Internet Poker" section? It should generate some discussion and/or analysis there.

Its a general question im asking about RB across all sites and im getting nothing but pm's from RB companies here and no sensible information about what my original post is asking.

If they aren't sponsored 2+2 affiliates, and I suspect some of them aren't, you should report them to Bobo Fett

Bobo isn't fond of unsolicited affiliate PMs: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...42&postcount=3

Lastly, a quick check of the request form shows shows only a couple sponsored affiliates: RakeTheRake ; RakeRace ; Two Plus Two Accounting

Nice idea for a thread. A full breakdown doesn't show on many poker sites because they're all affiliates. I've yet to see pokernews mention the 60% plus rb available on ipoker etc. even once.

There will probably be a bunch of promos running during the summer that will complicate any calculations - partypoker especially do some stuff to try and keep traffic up.

sad that not a single useful answer in the very relevant threads - how is it that so many of us pay massive rake to these companies and there is no black and white data available on who is charging the most ?

i am looking to move my BR - i would like a RB deal that is at least a bit honest (i mean if i get 30% RB and rake 100$ i would like 30$ not have it depend on how i am running) not reliant on rake races, weird loyalty tiers or any of that stuff.

What's the best way to calculate the rake paid? I have HM2 and it has the rake numbers in money, but I have my doubts how accurate it is. I'm wondering if Pokertracker or Hand2note is better. Also does FPDB has this stat at all, is there any script one could run in a folder of handhistories to see the results?

When Pokertableratings was functional in most major sites they had a very handy comparison table.

Because everyone is just like you - wanting the information, but unwilling to do any of the work to get it.

Except maybe this guy:

You might find some answers in their threads in the Commercial Software forum.

Just to add to this, if there's real interest in gathering this information, I'd suggest starting a thread with the info you have, and see if others will contribute what they know.

Meh, it was out of date for YEARS before the site was shut down.
