Re: What is happening with Everleaf? Are we going on another scandal?

I do not belittle legitimate concerns. Players complained. We thanked them for bringing the issue to us and promised to resolve the problem. It's not a very simple problem.
We asked for patience while we are investigating and trying to match up the amounts and do whatever else is needed, and that includes most of the things "sebasdess" has listed above. If we really want to solve the problem, we can't come here and publicize every our step, as much as we would like to do it.

Did we run away from the problem? Did we tell you you’re on your own?
I don't know where Jo Remme is but I know where their former network is.
We are the network and not a skin, like Jo Remme. We are not washing our hands of the skin's f***-up like other networks, although we could. We are saying that we will stand by the promise of our brand. Networks are not all alike. There is no need to put everyone in the same basket.

Re: What is happening with Everleaf? Are we going on another scandal?

Wow, that last response with the "get off our back" tone was just amazing. How do you think it reflects on your company when you get frustrated with players who have been screwed on your network?

The fact that this all had to be discussed on a public forum before the company took it seriously enough to take action is unacceptable. If you do not want to be hounded by frustrated players then next time one of your skins mess up perhaps you should resolve it behind closed doors and have a resolution before things escalate rather than taking the wait-and-see route.

Re: What is happening with Everleaf? Are we going on another scandal?

I agree that "get off our back" was a bit too much for this forum.
The deal was done behind our back and we are trying to find out who owes whom how much. I asked players to send me their claims. Even some of the players are not sure how much is owed to them. I know it's hard after all this wait to allow us a few more weeks to work out the problem. Do you think we can do it faster and are just enjoying your wrath?
Should have we just gone the way of others and told you to get your money on your own? Networks did that and survived just fine. Others screwed their players big time and grew even bigger after that.
You can keep throwing mud at us here, no problem. Is it going to get your money back faster? I don't think so. They only thing will get your money back faster is our resolve to get you your money. And that's something we do have. Now, get off our back... OK, just kidding LOL

ManagerELG never answers this in any response. Maybe they just like taking skins money and letting the players play on badly managed sites?

I'm also with managerELG and wish him every success in resolving this issue and silencing the crowd. I do hope they learn from their mistakes as promised and manage to move forward and build a very strong brand because with the passion showed from the manager only good things can happen

Ok, I think that you're just having a communication problem with the forum.

1) The problem should have never been allowed to happen on your network in the first place. You take at least partial responsibility for this. The players shouldn't be taking any, so you should cut them some slack.

2) Pointing out illegal and downright ****ty behavior by others is not appropriate. We should not have to "hope" that you do the right thing and should not be constantly reminded how ****ty, cheating scumbags have screwed people over and gotten away with it. It's mind boggling that you would even say "Should have we just gone the way of others and told you to get your money on your own? Networks did that and survived just fine. Others screwed their players big time and grew even bigger after that."

3) If I made a thread giving away free money, there would be users critical or slamming me. If you get to know how 2p2 works, a forum with this many users is going to have plenty of smart ass pricks. But there are many more good people here. Ignore the truly ******* people in this thread and just post updates when you have them. If you have no update every week, post "still working to resolve this, I will update when there is news" and answer every legitimate question. Again, this takes no more than 30 minutes a day, and I'm sure most companies would kill to only have to have one person put in 30 minutes a day to deal with a situation where customers on their network haven't gotten paid in months.

I'm sure everybody is glad that you're here, but you just need to approach things a little bit more positively and not take things so personally or treat this as an attack on you or your company. Bottom line: there was a screw up on your network, it needs to be fixed, players are out of money.

With all due respect ChicagoRy this is precisely what other networks HAVE done. So i am 100% with him on that quote and will wait to see if he can deliver on his promise.

For what its worth I think he will.

Re: What is happening with Everleaf? Are we going on another scandal?

Yes, I am aware that other networks screw their players and get away with it.

How does that give Everleaf the right to subtly talk about doing it? How does it make them great people for not screwing over their customers?

I'm not really understanding what you're talking about runlikegod. It's not that I disagree with the facts he mentioned, I disagree that it is in any way relevant to this situation.

Do you think if I'm at a shareholders meeting I'm going to say "hey, look, we're losing millions, but should I have covered losses like Enron and Tyco?"

Would anybody feel safe investing in a company that talked like that? Would anybody consider it appropriate? What do some other cheating networks have to do with the fact that players on a site haven't been paid in months?

It's like the thief syndrome: "If you keep talking to me I won't pay your funds back. Ok, you talked to me, I'm not paying it back, I told you, this is your fault now."

Re: What is happening with Everleaf? Are we going on another scandal?

I tried to make a few cashouts from here and went on some sickkkkkk runs, I have never seenanything like it, 1 outters hit on me more then I won when someone had 1 out, 2 outters hit on me more then I won when someone had two outs and so on and so forth. I have taken a break from Poker4ever and know this is the best idea for the time being

Is this still on the timeline you mentioned? I am definitely looking forward to having Euro tables added.

I certainly wonder how many of the haters posting in this thread have even played on an Everleaf skin. Most of these replies look like the standard hater posts by the people who think everyone should only play on FT or Pokerstars.

I'm also looking forward to the Euro tables as the games on there are wild, but so is the rake cap.
