How much money in bonuses and such do you think you will make playing becoming SNE. Also, I am currently contemplating making a run at SNE next year I have solid stats need to work on Multitabling to put in the volume but with an average buyin of 100-60 ish how many games a week would I need and if you could start the year over would you do the same thing you are doing?

I think SNE is worth about 100k if you aren't SNE going into the year and about 120k if you are, but both of those are merely approximations. It's pretty trivial to figure it out yourself though based on what you play.

For sngs each dollar of rake is worth 5 vpps so basically you need to pay 200k in rake to make SNE. So each week you need to pay about 4k in rake to get 20k vpps to stay on pace. I'm guessing you can figure it out from there.

Yeah I would definitely do the same thing again if I could start the year over. It's been a very good year for me (except for the WSOP).

Hey Jorj,

Was gonna PM or IM you but figured some other people might like to hear your answer.

Congrats on the ME satty day, so assuming your profit is all in $W will you just sell it at the going rate in the MTTC $W thread? Or will you just try to "recycle" them through other hypers and get the cash through 2nd and 3rd place finishes. I won a bunch of seats leading up to the ME so now half my account is in $W. If you do recycle could you give me a hint how fast it converts into real $

Thanks,
DNA2RNA

You can't really recycle them right now because there's nothing running that takes W$ but I assume they will have PCA sats up very soon that we can use them for. I'll just hang on to it because even if I don't use it for PCA I'll use it for SCOOP next year or WSOP or whatever. I'll always need them for something.

53 thousand hypers this year? How many of those were before they started to be raked? I'd really like to know what kind of a stakes-breakdown you have for them. I thought I played a fair amount of them but I don't actually run into you much except on Tuesday nights. Which tournaments do you play hypers to? What software do you use to help you with registration/closing/etc.

Do you do any coding yourself to find profitable strategies?

Also, I would be really interested to know what kind of ROI you see across levels, since I know you deviate pretty far from immediate ICM equilibrium in a number of spots, I assume because of future-hand equity. There are definitely a few times where I've seen you do something and I've said to myself "whatttttt that can't be right", then looked it up, and still can't figure out what's going on. I'm guessing you don't share that info publicly, but if you PM it, I promise I won't tell .

You're welcome for all the monies during the ME sats. This is psimalive.

Do you have any sponsors? I've looked around a bit and got some interest but nothing that has come through. I think now that I'm coaching on Stox they will eventually but have you gotten any sponsors and how much do you get paid if you do?

I have about 18 thousand hypers in my database that are unraked.

Quick stakes brakedown (all numbers are approximations):

$1k+: 500
$500-$1k: 100
$420: 2700
$250-$400: 800
$222: 2800
$212: 2000
$170/$175: 300
$150: 1300
$128: 2800
$110: 1600
$86: 18k
$80: 4k
$54: 8k
$44: 7k
lower: 1k

I play them for pretty much any tourney I can find that offers them.

The only software I use is table ninja. I just started using it a few weeks ago. Before that I used an ahk script I found in the software forum. The only things I use TN for is the 1-click registering and auto-closing tables when I bust.

I don't do any coding myself.

I used ICM at first to get some idea of how to play them, but I'm pretty sure if someone just strictly followed ICM in these that they would barely be a winning player. I have reasons for every play I make in these and some of them might not be correct in an immediate sense but I think they are correct for the overall sng. Others may just be misclicks or me rushing too much.

I'm not posting my ROI numbers because that's basically the reason I block sharkscope in the first place. Although I've been thinking about unblocking it, I'm not really sure yet.

Good luck in the games bud.

No I don't have a sponsor. I've never really even tried to get one. I did just apply for the Team PokerStars Online Pro thing that popped up when I logged in. I imagine my chances aren't all that great but I probably have some chance. If any of you reading this thread want to see me get this, feel free to email vipclub@pokerstars.com and say something like "Jorj95 is my favoritest online player, he is just the bee's knees. If you don't put him on team pokerstars I am quitting pokerstars forever." (or you can write something a little more subtle if you want ...oh and sorry for the self pimpage).

When you're playing that many tables, do you ever get to see the results of your shoves? Or does another screen pop up too quickly? Do you pull your shoves out of your stacks to another part of your screen?

Any advice for a new player (1000 sngs so far) who is having difficulty moving from 6 tabling tiled games to 8,10,12+ tabling in two stacks? I stil want to see the results of my shoves (maybe 'cause I'm still learning) but it's holding me back when it comes to volume.
Thanks. Great read.

Yeah sometimes I'll pull a table out to see what happens but usually it's for the purpose of seeing what hand my opponent shoved or called with so I can more accurately put him on a range next time in a similar situation. Of course I don't mind seeing the results but if I do this too much then I start to fall behind on the other tables.

Does anyone in the world run as good as you at Hypers? I watched maybe 10 last week on the wcoop main event day and I can honestly say I saw you win seats on at least 8 of them. It was incredible.

Glad you enjoyed the thread.

I've had maybe 5 or so get to the 400/800 level, which would be over 15 minutes.

Good luck in the games.

I dont remember you answering a question like this so.....

Who do you think has a greater advantage in a large soft field (3000+) WSOP event, a HS SNG player or a Mid stakes FR cash game reg and why?

No, I just go to some games, pretty sure I'm glad I didn't go last night though, that was a disaster.

Probably a sng player because they understand shoving/calling ranges and also bubble factors since it's something they deal with every day. Obviously cash games players have an advantage at the beginning of a tourney but that part is less important than the later stages.

Do you stake anyone? If so, in what?

Are interest in starting to stake people?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but, HUD or no HUD?

How old are you? Family? How do you manage your time to play every day with the volume I've seen you playing and still have time for the important things in life?
