George, are you still a Stars pro? If not, will this affect where you play? Just curious what, if any, your plans are as far as poker. I completely understand if you'd rather not post about this though.

I don't know yet. I have talked with a few Stars people in the last few weeks about the fact that we are relocating, but we've only talked about Team Online briefly and kind of in passing. I will be sure to let you guys know as soon as I know (and i'm not bs'ing you guys this time like I did for a couple days when they originally signed me ).

There's some part of me that wants to check out other sites to see what's out there, especially since there are more options as a non-American, but also a big part of me that loves the Stars brand and I would love to represent them again if we can work everything out. And realistically deep down I know Stars is the best site in so many ways so it would probably be futile to even try to play much at other sites anyway. Hah it sounds like I'm toeing the company line already...

Well you always were a good rep for the site and I hope you guys can come to an agreement.

What was your hourly rate in 2011 and how much did you make from poker?

I have no idea, I don't keep very good records. I did have a good year in some respects as I did well at the WSOP, but on the other hand I only got to play like 3 months online because of Black Friday.

Besides the Series I know you played quite a bit of Live cash after BF. Do you plan to continue Live Play in Vancouver (the only really decent Live area in all of Canada) or do you think you will just return to Online?

Grats on the decision. Pacific NW is an amazing area. Hate to say it, but its a great time for talent to leave the US. You'll love it there (and I'm happy Canada will reap the brain-drain benefits of supporting personal freedoms). Please do let us know your screen names if you venture onto some other sites (or if it changes for some reason on Stars)... it was fun coming up in the hyper-turbos with you from back in the days they were whip cream soft and rake-free.
