They were $2k hypers for the 5k event, and yeah I played just about every one that went. Was up like 25k at one point then down 50k at another point, ended up down like 20k in them if I remember right.

Haven't had any problems with the banks so far anyway (Bank of America), I mostly use echecks for cashing out when I can't sell the pokerstars $ for cash.

The assumption that someone can make $2mill a year from rakeback alone just shows how people can see a number in a forum, misunderstand it and then think "OMGAD I CAN HAZ 2MILLI BI CLICKZ0RZ B3T AND F0LDZ".
EDIT: But this is not honouring the great George Lind so let us stop this and get back on track

Yeah obviously to answer the previous question, it would be impossible to get that many vpp on any days except for the SCOOP and WCOOP main event days, unless I started playing $5k heads up's which is extremely unlikely.

I wouldn't really say I get tilted at much of anything anymore in poker, as in I don't make any bad plays based purely on emotion. Obviously I still make bad plays though and that can be pretty tilting to know I made a bad play regardless of the result.
I mean obviously I'm human and to say I never tilt is pretty naive but I like to think that tilt affects me less than 99.99% of poker players.

Re: The Well: Jorj95 (George Lind III)
Sorry for not answering questions for a few days, I was out of town in Ohio visiting my wife's family and going to an Ohio State game (against my will ). Hope I answered everything, if I missed one feel free to ask again.

Not sure on NAPT yet, probably won't decide until right before unless I win a seat in the meantime. If I don't go, my next tourney will be PCA.

Hey jorj95. Is pretty much most of the money you make from these hyper turbos? How long have you been playing on stars? Did they had hyper turbos back a couple of years ago? What games did you play to earn your money? I don't know why but playing these hyperturbos surely seem a lot easier in terms of never having to play a long session because the hyper turbos last usually 5 minutes i think? I mean lot of people who play sngs for a living say the $60 and up ones even turbos usually have to put in at least 30 minutes per game.

For the last 2 years most of the money I've made has been from playing the hyperturbos.
I first played on stars around 03 or 04 but I didn't really play regularly until 07.
Hyperturbos started during WCOOP 08 I think.
Before that I played live cash games then I bet sports for a while, then I played regular sngs.
Yeah hyperturbos are really nice for session length because you can quit within 10 minutes if you want to, but also you can start up and within 5-10 minutes you can have a full complement of tables going, so very little wasted time compared to mtts or sngs.

Re: The Well: Jorj95 (George Lind III)
You would say you enjoy these hyperturbos much more than live cash games and regular sngs right? I am assuming you make much at hyperturbos than you did in the other games? Also, when you do play the regular tournaments, do you ever get bored? I mean, if you were playing these hyperturbos which are very quick, then play tourneys that last 12+ hours, i would imagine you say this is going to be a long day!

With hyper turbos, up to how many realistically can you play at a time? Given that they end pretty quickly, I assume you can't get that many up right?
I assume when you're playing a session you just register for every single hyper that you want to play and don't stop regging because you won't be able to fill like 25+ at a time right?

I made quite a bit in the HT's for a while but the hourly earn is def lower now because more players play them pretty well now. I don't know that I enjoy them more, in some ways I'm kind of bored of them now but that might be because they're harder now and I've been running pretty bad in them the last couple months.
I don't really get that bored in regular tournaments, I bring my IPhone and read stuff or play games if the action is slow, and I chat a lot at the tables sometimes.

I've gotten up around 44 I think before when I was just seeing how many I could do at once, but obv it was really hectic and I could never sustain that many.
I feel comfortable up to around 22-24 consistently and can realistically play around 30-32 in bursts of 10 minutes or so but I've been playing less tables recently because the games are higher buyin during WCOOP (maybe like 12-16 tables usually) and I'd prefer not to misclick too often in big buyin games because I'm 25 tabling or whatever.

Re: The Well: Jorj95 (George Lind III)
Great well,
How many players would you say make a good living playing sng's now? I know its vague question but do you think it's in the dozens, 100's, 1000's?
